FK Leotar , commonly known as Leotar Trebinje or simply Leotar, is a professional football club based in the city of Trebinje that is situated in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Founded in 1925 and named after the mountain located just north of the city, the club's home ground is the 8,550-seater Stadion Police.

The Herzegovina lobby or Herzegovinian lobby is a disputed term that emerged in Croatia in the 1990s for the alleged disproportional influence of Croats from the Herzegovina region of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the politics of Croatia. At times it has been described it as a major factor in contemporary Croatian politics and the most powerful lobby in Croatia, it is also viewed as a stereotype, pejorative, and nonexistent.Proponents of the existence of such a lobby claim that it helped fund Croatia's war-time president Franjo Tuđman, his Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) political party, and his involvement in the Bosnian War, during which the lobby openly advocated annexing Herzegovina.

Herzegovina Affair

Herzegovina Affair or Herzegovina Case (Croatian: Hercegovački slučaj) refers to a conflict between the Franciscan Province of Herzegovina and the Diocese of Mostar-Duvno over the redistribution of parishes in the said diocese. The conflict between the Franciscans and the diocesan clergy started with the restoration of the regular church hierarchy in Bosnia and Herzegovina after its occupation by Austria-Hungary in 1881.
