Warsaw

Warsaw ; see also other names) is the capital and largest city of Poland. The metropolis stands on the Vistula River in east-central Poland and its population is officially estimated at 1.780 million residents within a greater metropolitan area of 3.1 million residents, which makes Warsaw the 8th most-populous capital city in the European Union.

Whirlwinds of Danger is a Polish socialist revolutionary song written some time between 1879 and 1883. The Polish title, a deliberate reference to the earlier song by the same title, could be translated as either "The Warsawian", "The Song of Warsaw" (as in the Leon Lishner version) or "the lady of Warsaw".
