Mqabba FC went on goal in the early minutes of the first half with Luqa pressing to find the goal. Mqabba FC played an excellent first half but Luqa managed to score the 1-1 goal just before half time. In the second half Luqa went immediately on goal followed by various disputable decisions from the referee which decisions permited Mqabba FC to conceed other two goals. Bernard Briffa scored for Mqabba FC.
