North Texas Mean Green football

The North Texas Mean Green football program is the intercollegiate team that represents the University of North Texas in the sport of American football. The Mean Green compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the West Division of Conference USA (CUSA).

2015 North Texas Mean Green football team

The 2015 North Texas Mean Green football team represented the University of North Texas as a member of the West Division of Conference USA diring the 2015 NCAA Division I FBS football season They began the season with Dan McCarney as head coach, in his fifth season, and played their home games at Apogee Stadium in Denton, Texas. On October 10, McCarney was fired after a 66–7 blowout loss to Portland State, with offensive coordinator Mike Canales named interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

During the 1930s the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, a college football team representing Louisiana Tech University, played in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association until 1939, when the team played in the Louisiana Intercollegiate Conference (LIC). The Bulldogs' best performance that decade was in 1931, when they won all their matches.
