2009 Toronto FC season

The club once again failed to make the playoffs, however, they won the Canadian Championship and strong performances near the end of the season helped them in qualifying to the semifinal phase of the 2011–12 CONCACAF Champions League.

The 2013 Toronto FC season was Toronto FC's seventh season in Major League Soccer, the top tier of soccer in the United States and Canada. Kevin Payne became the club's first president during the off-season.
