The LA Rams put on a clinic against the New England Patriots - ending their dynasty and making a statement. Cam Akers became the man and the Rams defense continued it's strong play against one of the most inept offenses in the league. Rams head coach, Sean McVay kind of got the monkey off his back and it feels good. How good? The LA Rams took care of business against the Arizona Cardinals 38-28 and advanced into first place in the NFC West. The Rams defense was stellar, limiting Kyler Murray to a mere 188 all-purpose yards, while Jared Goff got back on track with 351 yards and two score. It was an impressive win and much needed palette cleanser heading into our Thursday Night Football matchup with the hated ones - the New England Patriots. #larams #cardinals #rams Follow me on » Instagram @laramstalk » Twitter @realLARamsTalk » TikTok @laramstalk » Flick: https://flick.group/larams » Fan To Fan Network: https://fantofannetwork.com/
The LA Rams were handed yet another loss by division foe, SF 49ers last Sunday 23-20. Jared Goff went full Chernobyl with three turnovers including a pick-six. Not the way you want to play against your rival. However, the Rams can bounce back and I'm here to talk you off the ledge! #larams #49ers #sfvslar Follow me on » Instagram @laramstalk » Twitter @realLARamsTalk » TikTok @laramstalk » Flick: https://flick.group/larams » Fan To Fan Network: https://fantofannetwork.com/
Despite leading wire-to-wire, the LA Rams did not look sharp when they edged out a tight win against the winless NY Giants and improving to 3-1. Getting a win isn't all that matters. How you perform matters, too. This is why most Rams fans feel better about the loss to Buffalo than they do with the win against the Giants. The Giants outgained the Rams and won the time of possession battle. The Giants rush attack nearly tripled the Rams ground game, yet all they had to show for it were three field goals. For what the Rams lacked offensively, they made up for on defense. The Rams pass rush got after Giants quarterback Daniel Jones sacking him five times and registering 10 tackles for a loss. It's about time the Rams pass rush showed up especially considering how poorly the Giants offensive line has played. As good as the pass rush was, the Rams secondary was just as strong. Jalen Ramsey had one of the plays of the game when he blew up two Giants on one play. The other defensive gem belongs to cornerback Darious Williams who made a pivotal interception for the second time this season. Williams is the first player since 2013/14 to have four interceptions in his first seven career games. A tip of the cap has to go to the Giants defensive front who outmuscled the Rams offensive lines. Because of this, Rams head coach Sean McVay had to run 13 personnel (three tight ends) on 19 percent of the offensive snaps to mitigate the Giants pass rush. This is also why running back Malcom Brown, who is an asset at picking up blitzes and pass protection out-snapped Darrell Henderson. Jared Goff had an okay game, throwing for 200 yards and one touchdown. He rarely took shots downfield and seemed risk averse. Most of those yards came on a long throw and catch to Cooper Kupp for the Rams second TD of the game. It wasn't a pretty win, especially on offense but the Rams defense stepped up and hopefully McVay and company will make the proper adjustments for the next game at Washington. #larams #ramsgiants #nygiants
Getting ready for the LA Rams vs the NY Giants at SoFi. Lots of good Rams Talk! #larams #nygiants #ramsgiants
The LA Rams lost a heartbreaker to the Buffalo Bills this past weekend, 35-32. Yes, there was a blown defensive pass interference call but that did not decide the game. There were plenty other miscues by the Rams that cost them the game. That being said, the Rams offense kept rolling and looked as good as ever outgaining the Bills on the ground and through the air. Jared Goff led the attack throwing for 321 yards, two touchdowns and one rushing TD. Goff looked crisp and decisive with the only blemish being an interception thrown into triple coverage. After three games, Goff is the third highest-rated quarterback according to Pro Football Focus and is light years ahead of his subpar 2019 performance. One of the biggest surprises of the young 2020 season is the emergence of second year running back Darrell Henderson. Henderson topped 100 rushing yards for the first time in his career with 114 yards on 20 carries, good for 5.7 yards per carry. Henderson had five carries for 10+ yards with his longest going for 14. He looked quick and decisive hitting the hole hard. Even though the Rams dug themselves a massive hole by falling behind by 25 points, head coach Sean McVay stayed with the balanced attack with 14 rushes and passes. This is refreshing to see as he and the Rams abandoned the run when trailing last year. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp led the Rams in targets, receptions and yards with 10/9/107 and a TD. He converted on third down and set up several key blocks throughout the game. Rookie Van Jefferson only appeared in eight snaps while fourth year receiver Josh Reynolds matched Kupp with 62 snaps. Aaron Donald continued to wreak havoc on opposing offensive lines with two sacks, a forced fumble and fumble recovery. He simply could not be blocked in the second half and wrecked the game for Josh Allen and company. In the end, the Rams could not hold onto the lead. Whether it was lapses by the defense, missed tackles or blown calls, they did not do enough to escape Buffalo with the win. #larams #ramsbills #buffalobills
