Game 3 of 3 of the Tigers playing the Rangers and we've got a rubbermatch as the series is tied 1-1. Game 2 was like game 1, but reversed as the Rangers played good defense and pitched well, but their offense is what stole the show and the Tigers seemed lost on defense again and they used a slew of bad pitchers leading to a 10-5 loss. But we have a chance at taking the series this afternoon! Its Mize vs Gibson, so its one of the young stars of the game vs arguably the best pitcher in the American League; offense could be limited today. Game 2 of 3 of the Tigers playing the Rangers and the Tigers lead the series 1-0. Well game 1 certainly went well for the Tigers as they domianted entirely and won 7-3, and if they hadn't put in the shakey part of the bullpen they would have won 7-0. We can hope that Jose Urena pitches well tonight, he didn't do as bad his last start only allowing 4 runs (all home runs though) so lets hope he can somewhat mirror that start with less mistakes. The hitting seemed great last night as it has the last several games, lets hope that continues. Rangers seemed outmatched in game 1, is that a sign of a season sweep coming up? Well the last couple of series have gone well for the Tigers as they have swept the Cardinals, split with the Astros, won 2 of 3 vs both the Indians and White Sox; not bad for a team 8 games under .500 ey? Fans can be hopeful this team is finding their stride, as it will happen with as much young talent and good coaching that is present. Lets hope we can start this series off right with a win vs a team that hasnt had the best season. Rangers hope to get a win vs a team with a slightly better record, but a much brighter future. Game 1 of 3 of the Tigers hosting the White Sox! Well the last series started poorly and ended with the Tigers winning the series in a double header sweep, so lets hope today's outcome mirrors the last couple of games we played and not the first. The Tigers also find themselves just 9 games under .500, and look to hit the 8 under .500 mark after tonight. The White Sox will not be easy to do this against, as they are fresh off a sweep of the Twins (not a mighty opponent, but a sweep is a sweep). Lets hope we can overwhelm the Sox tonight! GO TIGERS! Game 4 of 4 of the Astros playing the Tigers and the Astros lead the series 2-1. We were able to split last nights doubleheader with the Astros, and if we hadn't had one bad inning we could have swept it, but thats how things go in this game sometimes. Plus Fulmer was pitching injured, again, so that might explain it. Now we try to tie the series and go for a split agains the Astros, the Tigers have already won the Season series against their managers former team and splitting against one of the leagues best teams would just be icing on the cake for this young Tigers team. St. Louis Cardinals vs Detroit Tigers Live Stream And Hanging Out!!
Game 2 of 2 of the Cardinals playing the Tigers in Detroit and the Tigers lead the series 1-0 and look to sweep this afternoon! Well game 1 was certainly good for Detroit! We won the game 8-2, as all 3 phases of the game were playing at high levels. We hit very well, ran the bases great, played solid defense, and pitched very well and when any team does that; they become nearly unbeatable. It would be nice if this young team could play at its max potential every night, but that is part of the growing pains. The Cardinals struggles and tough season seems to continue for them as they struggle with a team they probably thought would be a quick right to a sinking ship; now they are taking on more water. We played much better last night, but still seem to be plagued by our bullpen.
