Jurgen Klopp says it would be a 'crime' were he to rest the likes of Mo Salah against Brighton on Saturday - and he hopes those left out are angry. The Liverpool boss will not entertain the idea of rotation for the visit of the fifth-placed Seagulls. Instead, he will revert to his strongest available XI as his side bids to extend their 23-match unbeaten run in all competitions. TOM COLLOMOSSE AT THE BRENTFORD COMMUNITY STADIUM: James Maddison put his finger to his lips to silence all those who continue to doubt him after he netted the winning goal away at Brentford. Leicester went ahead in spectacular fashion when the ball squirmed free outside the area for Youri Tielemans to hammer past David Raya. But Brentford are dogged - as Chelsea found last week - and so their equaliser came as little surprise, with Mathias Jorgensen nodding in. Leicester, who have really picked up since their 2-2 draw away at Crystal Palace recently, pushed in search of a winner and got it through Maddison after he was picked out by substitute Patson Daka. The two great north-west clubs meet at Old Trafford on Sunday with United manager Solsjkaer under pressure. United were second to champions Manchester City last season with Liverpool finish fourth. But speaking at lunchtime on Friday Solskjaer said: 'Liverpool are one of the teams we are trying to catch up on, even though last season we were ahead of them maybe because of bad luck with injuries.' What was supposed to be a friendly between MLS side San Jose Earthquakes and Cruz Azul of Mexico was marred by ugly scenes when a pitch invader ran onto the pitch and punched midfielder Jack Skahan. Chris Wondolowski stepped in for his team-mate and got the invader in a headlock and took them down to the ground. On a night of drama, San Jose Police then confirmed there were reports of a shooting and multiple fights after the game, with more than one person taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Callum Robinson, the 26-year-old West Brom striker, who had already missed games for his country as a close contact, first tested positive in November last year and then again in August, meaning he had to sit out last month's World Cup qualifiers. Asked if he had been vaccinated, he replied: 'I haven't been vaccinated, no. That's my choice at this moment in time. Robinson, who declined to discuss his reasons, continues to be tested regularly along with his team-mates and he is not the only member of the Ireland squad not to have been vaccinated, with manager Stephen Kenny (inset), who has seen his reign to date repeatedly disrupted by coronavirus, confirming several players are in the same situation. #ArsenalNews #Footballnews JOE BERNSTEIN AT TURF MOOR: Martin Odegaard's outstanding free-kick was enough to complete back-to-back victories for Arsenal after Burnley had a penalty award overturned by VAR. Odegaard was inch-perfect with his left foot after half-an-hour to grant further relief to manager Mikel Arteta who saw his team lose their first three league games without scoring before breaking their duck against Norwich last weekend. But Burnley, who gave £15million winger Maxwel Cornet his debut from the bench, were unable to celebrate Sean Dyche signing a new four-year contract on Thursday. SAMI MOKBEL AT THE EMIRATES STADIUM: More satisfactory than convincing but finally Arsenal are off the mark. This wasn't a vintage - far from it. But that won't matter much to Mikel Arteta after what has been a turgid start to the new season. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the hero, finishing one the easiest goals of his career to score Arsenal's first Premier League goal of the season and secure their first points. Gareth Southgate (right) has hailed England stars Raheem Sterling (left) and Jude Bellingham (inset) for their maturity after the pair faced racist chanting from Hungary fans in Thursday's World Cup qualifier. Sterling, who scored the opening goal in a 4-0 victory for the Three Lions, endured the abuse after celebrating in front of a section of the Budapest crowd, while midfielder Bellingham - an unused substitute in the game - was the subject of monkey noises from those supporters while he was warming up on the touchline. FIFA have opened up disciplinary proceedings concerning the incidents in the Hungarian capital, but as England's attention turns towards a second qualifier with Andorra at Wembley on Sunday, Three Lions boss Southgate praised Sterling, Bellingham and the rest of his squad for their reactions.
