New TTT Format Makes For Thrilling Racing! | Paris-Nice 2023 Highlights - Stage 3
Stage 3 of this year's Race to the Sun is a team time trial with a twist. At 32.1km in length, this is the first TTT to feature at Paris-Nice in over 30 years, and unlike as is usually the case, times are taken on the team's first rider across the line. Nervy Day Of Racing As Crosswinds Loom! | Paris-Nice 2023 Highlights - Stage 2
Stage 2 is another opportunity for the sprinters. With its meagre 1,000m of climbing and arrow-straight run into the finish in Fontainebleau, this 163.5km stage is much easier than yesterday's and should end with a big bunch sprint. The 207.3km route from Ghent to Ninove tackles 13 hellingen - the bone-rattling cobbled climbs of Flanders - as well as seven more flat cobblestone sectors. Teams Go Head-To-Head Against The Clock | UAE Tour 2023 Highlights - Stage 2
At 17.3km in length, this year’s TTT course is almost twice as long as last year’s ITT course (9km). It’s very similar though - a simple out-and-back with just two U-turns either side of Khalifa Port to slow the riders down. The men's WorldTour heads to Italy for the final Monument of the season: Il Lombardia. The 116th edition of 'the Race of the Falling Leaves' starts in Bergamo and ends in Como after 253km of racing. With close to 4,000m of climbing and five categorised climbs, stage 20 should prove to be the most attritional stage of the race and one where only the strongest survive to contest the stage win at the finish.
