Akinjo's 22 points lead Wildcats to victory in conference home opener

Playing in their final non-conference tune-up, Colorado men's basketball took down Grand Canyon 74-64 thanks in large part to the contribution from McKinley Wright IV. The senior guard scored 21 points and added seven assists and four rebounds in the victory. Still, Grand Canyon stuck with the Buffs for the first half - with the score tied at 27 heading into intermission. But Colorado's offense exploded for 41 points in the second half to put the game out of reach. The Buffs (6-1) will enter conference play with a full head of steam, having won four straight games.
Beavers win thriller and improve to 15-0 against Portland State

The victory means Arizona will take an impressive 6-1 record into conference play, which will start for the Wildcats on December 28th against Colorado.
