With Topps Chrome Refractor PSA 10s selling for over well $15,000, we feel that this card which is far more rare in terms of production numbers should easily follow suit in the near future. Presented here is the #72 example which boasts beautiful GEM MINT presentation throughout. Completely fresh with untouched corners, 50-50 centering and razor sharp edges around. The surfaces are immaculate with zero visible imperfections present. The autograph is penned in blue ink and shows every sign of being pristine. Offered here is the iconic '08 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems PMG Red which showcases 'King James' in a classic in-action shot. This ultra condition sensitive and highly elusive card simply never shows itself on the open market as nearly every copy is locked away in private portfolios. Limited to only forty copies created (greens occupy the first ten) with the offered specimen being the #40/50 example. Almost every aspect of this card is perfect with pristine centering and a faultless periphery (rare!). All four corners are uniformly untouched and the clarity is precise. Typical surface cracking/lifting (whatever you want to call it) is all that keeps this fine-art equivalent at the '6' level. Like the '97 PMG Red Michael Jordan, this card seems destined to be one of LeBron's most desired productions with a demand which far exceeds supply.
