PAKISTAN vs ENGLAND 1st T20 LIVE MATCH | PAK vs ENG 1st ODI LIVE COMMENTARY (ENG vs PAK) Soon after Pakistan were blanked 3-0 by a new-look England ODI side, the Pakistan head coach termed his team's performance as "poor" and "disappointing". The former captain went to the extent of roasting his team in the press conference and had no hesitation in stressing the performances in the three games cannot be defended. In a T20 World Cup year, the players now have a chance to soothe some of the hurt in the T20I series. With most of the regular players back for England - the No. 1 ranked side in the format - the challenge, however, is only going to get tougher. Pakistan are still searching for the ideal combination for the T20 World Cup and Misbah has already declared that he's looking for candidates to bat in the No. 5 and No. 6 positions. And hence, there will be opportunities for Sohaib Maqsood and Azam Khan to impress and nail down a position in the final eleven. Babar Azam's century in the final ODI should also boost the morale of the side despite three painful outings. The England selectors have decided to reward some of the players from the ODI squad with the likes Lewis Gregory, Jake Ball, Saqib Mahmood and Matt Parkinson aiming for an extended run in national colours. The series could well serve as an opportunity for the think tank to finalise some of the additional options before they settle in for the final squad for the World Cup. What: 1st T20I, July 16, 18:30 local time, 23:00 IST Where: Trent Bridge, Nottingham What to expect: In the opening T20 Blast game this year at the venue, Warwickshire hammered 229 against the hosts. Since then, however, the scores have hovered in the range of 150-190 if rain has played a part in shortening in the contest. The batsmen can expect an easier outing with the rain also likely to stay away. Team news: England: The hosts could try out Lewis Gregory and Saqib Mahmood after their impressive performances in the ODI series. Probable XI: Jason Roy, Jos Buttler (WK), Dawid Malan, Jonny Bairstow, Eoin Morgan (C), Moeen Ali, David Willey, Lewis Gregory, Saqib Mahmood, Adil Rashid, Chris Jordan. Pakistan: Pakistan will have to decide on Sharjeel Khan's opening partner. In the last T20I they played, Mohammad Rizwan opened and Fakhar Zaman batted at No. 4. Rizwan has taken a liking to opening the batting and it's likely he'll be persisted with. Probable XI: Mohammad Rizwan, Sharjeel Khan/Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez, Sohaib Maqsood, Azam Khan, Imad Wasim, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi. #PAKvsENG#1stT20#LIVE ENG VS PAK PAK VS ENG ENGLAND VS PAKISTAN PAKISTAN VS ENGLAND 3rd odi LIVE ENG VS PAK LIVE MATCH TODAY
NEW ZELAND VS ENGLAND 1ST TEST DAY 2 LIVE MATCH | ENG VS NZ 1ST TEST LIVE COMMENTARY (NZ VS ENG) There are a number of ways spectators can make their approach to Lord's this week. They can get off the Jubilee line at St John's Wood and walk down Wellington Road, past the hospital bearing the same name, and enter through the North Gates. If the weather is nice, patrons could alight the tube one stop earlier, at Baker Street, and enjoy a longer walk, past or through Regent's Park, one of London's finest, perhaps up to the East or Grace Gates. From the south, Edgware Road tube is the most convenient stop, a leisurely 20 minute walk through trendy Lisson Grove to the ground. Whichever way they come, the presence of around eight thousand spectators inside Lord's each day this week for the first Test between England and New Zealand will be a truly wonderful sight. It will be the first time England have played in front of spectators at home since the final Ashes Test in September 2019. This match is actually the first time England have played at Lord's since the second match of that series against Australia, nearly two years ago. As a result of playing every game at the bio-secure bubbles of the Ageas Bowl and Emirates Old Trafford last summer, it was the first time since 1970 that England did not play a Test at Lord's. Given the various protocols that needed to be observed, the lack of crowds and the two-venue system was a necessary evil to get cricket on and keep everyone safe. But the international cricket that took place last season was a soulless experience for all concerned. Playing without crowds was better than nothing, of course, but there was something missing, that interaction between the deeds on the field and those watching from the stands that elevates sport to a higher plane, full of energy and suspense and emotion. Think of that scene when Ben Stokes hit the winning runs in the third Ashes Test at Headingley two summers ago, the crowd behind him jumping to their feet in unbridled joy after an hour and a half cheering every single run and Australian misstep. That noise, that colour, those scenes made the occasion what it was. That is what we have missed over the past year. The contrast when James Anderson took his 600th wicket last summer at the Ageas Bowl in front of thousands of empty seats, with a few cheers from his teammates on the pavilion balcony drowned out by the silence, could not have been starker. To add to the excitement of this game, New Zealand are the visitors, the second ranked Test team in the world. They have not toured England since 2015 but these matches, added to the calendar to help the ECB recover some of their COVID-related losses, see them at the top of their game with the one of the finest fast-bowling attacks in the world and certainly the best New Zealand have ever produced. For Kane Williamson's men, the two Tests also provides perfect preparation for the World Test Championship final against India later this month. England are missing their IPL players, who have been rested from this game, and Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer, who are both injured. Nevertheless, they remain formidable opponents at home, particularly with James Anderson and Stuart Broad in their ranks. While too much has been made of Chris Silverwood's comments about using this summer to plan for the Ashes - he also said the Tests against New Zealand and India are significant series in their own right - there will be opportunity for the likes of James Bracey, Dan Lawrence and maybe Ollie Robinson to lay their credentials on the table. They will do so in an England team playing in front of spectators for the first time since the summer of 2019. The stands might only be 25% full for this game but it will feel like normality is returning, slowly but surely. Long may that road to normality continue. When: Wednesday June 2, 2021. 11:00am Local Time Squads: England Squad: Rory Burns, Dominic Sibley, Zak Crawley, Joe Root(c), Ollie Pope, Daniel Lawrence, James Bracey(w), Craig Overton, Mark Wood, Stuart Broad, James Anderson, Sam Billings, Olly Stone, Jack Leach, Ollie Robinson, Haseeb Hameed New Zealand Squad: Tom Latham, Tom Blundell, Kane Williamson(c), Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls, BJ Watling(w), Colin de Grandhomme, Mitchell Santner, Kyle Jamieson, Tim Southee, Neil Wagner, Doug Bracewell, Will Young, Jacob Duffy, Matt Henry, Devon Conway, Ajaz Patel, Daryl Mitchell, Rachin Ravindra
BANGLADESH vs SRI LANKA 1ST ODI MATCH LIVE | BAN vs SL 1st ODI LIVE COMMENTARY (SL vs BAN) Preview Post the 2018 Asia Cup, both Sri Lanka and Bangladesh share an interesting yet startling record with regards to a bilateral series in ODI cricket. Cleansweep. They either sweep the series home or allow their opponents to do the same. Only once have both teams managed to avoid a complete cleansweep. So, will the three-match ODI series in Dhaka, starting Sunday, be any different? Though Sri Lanka find themselves sinking at the bottom (almost) of the World Cup Super League points table, they are yet to lose an ODI bilateral series to Bangladesh. Their new-look squad is led by Kusal Perera, who might look for a sweet redemption, following his exclusion from the ODI squad on the Caribbean tour in March. Widely considered as the 'one for the future' Kusal Mendis, the vice-captain, will also have a lot to prove given his inconsistency across formats in recent years. Bangladesh are currently sixth in the Super League table, but skipper Tamim Iqbal warned against any complacency and felt that the team needs to "play more than a hundred per cent to beat Sri Lanka". While the addition of Shakib and Mustafizur boosts their home advantage, they would be hoping to keep the home-winning record intact having won their last four ODI series' since October 2018. When: Bangladesh v Sri Lanka 1st ODI, 1pm local time, 12:30pm IST Where: Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka What to expect: Teams chasing seem to have an advantage in Dhaka, and the dew factor might come into play as well with spinners getting some purchase in the first half of the game. Of the last seven games at the venue, five have been won by chasing teams which should tempt the captains to go for a 'win-toss-and-chase' approach. A perfect day for cricket beckons, meaning no weather interruptions are expected. How would the series affect World Cup Super League table? Sri Lanka are currently ranked 12th, and a 3-0 win over Bangladesh will help them climb to the ninthe spot. Bangladesh, currently at six, though needs to win the series if they are to secure the top spot in the table. Team news Bangladesh Skipper Tamim already confirmed that Shakib would be batting at three which could mean a toss-up between Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Mithun, but the latter is likely to get a go-ahead. There were questions over Mustafizur's fitness who, not too long ago, admitted to being tired because of the bubble life, but the pacer is set to play. Probable XI: Tamim Iqbal (c), Liton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah, Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mohammad Saifuddin, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman. Sri Lanka The visiting side will have at least four changes from their last eleven in ODIs and if the recently-concluded intra-squad practice is anything to go by. Expect one of Ramesh Mendis or Chamika Karunaratne to make their ODI debut. Probable XI: Niroshan Dickwella, Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Perera (C/W), Kusal Mendis, Dhananjaya de Silva, Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Isuru Udana, Lakshan Sandakan, Dushmantha Chameera, Chamika Karunaratne/Binura Fernando Thanks for Watching Regards Wasif Ali BD VS SL SL VS BD BANGLADESH VS SRI LANKA SRI LANKA VS BANGLADESH today match live #BANvsSL#1stODI#Live
NEW ZEALAND VS AUSTRALIA 2ND T20 LIVE MATCH TODAY | NZ VS AUS 2ND T20 (AUS VS NZ LIVE) #NZvsAUS#3rdT20#LIVE PREVIEW 18:00 Local Time, 05:00 GMT, 10:30 IST: Two games, two losses. Is experimenting going to cost Australia the series? They rested the likes of Smith, Starc and Cummins. The two defeats have been because they conceded over 180 and the batting has fallen apart. The inexperienced bowling line up has not been able to cope with a strong New Zealand side and the ground dimensions, while the top order batting has looked out of sorts especially skipper Aaron Finch. The home side are ticking all the boxes as they build up steam towards the World T20. Conway is having a dream run with the bat, Phillips too while Guptill and Neesham got runs under their belt in the previous game. Southee and Boult have been consistent with the ball while the spin twins have strangled the opposition in the middle overs. A win today and that will be the series sealed. Toss and teams coming up.. Stay tuned! Preview: In the two games of the five-match series so far, New Zealand have brought in a lot more dynamism and ability in the myriad phases of the shortest format compared to their opposition. Australia have suffered two contrasting, but equally sapping defeats, leaving them on the cusp of surrendering the series at the earliest juncture. In the first T20I, the Australian bowlers were guilty of letting New Zealand bounce back from an early top-order collapse, and in the second game they just failed to put a lid on the run-making in the unforgiving venue of Dunedin, making its T20I debut. In both these games though, worrying patterns have emerged for Australia - their lacklustre middle-overs bowling. A lot of New Zealand's success in the past week has been down to acing the middle-overs with the bat - they smashed 80 off 8 overs between overs 7 and 15 in the first game, and managed 104 in the same period in the second game. While Australia too have had some success in this phase with the bat, it's the lack of control with the ball that has hurt them the most. Besides getting his bowlers to tighten up in this important period of play, Aaron Finch will also look to shrug off his prolonged rut with the bat. The Aussie skipper's poor form from BBL 2020-21 [179 runs in 13 innings at an average of 13.77] has spilled over to the T20I series, scoring 1 and 12 in the series so far. Though Australia find themselves backed into a corner, there is still a silver lining if they opt to look at it that way. The remaining three T20Is will all be played at the same venue (Westpac stadium in Wellington) owing to Covid-19-related restrictions. If Australia can find a winning combination and perform once, they could perhaps back themselves to do it a couple of more times and stage a dramatic comeback in the series. As for New Zealand, the worries are negligible. Martin Guptill struck form in the second fixture, Devon Conway's streak of five successive half-centuries got broken but he now has the added motivation of playing in his home venue (albeit behind closed doors), Tim Seifert has happy memories at the Cake Tin (colloquial name for Wellington stadium) and Jimmy Neesham is on a quest to add multiple dimensions to his finishing game. If there's a worry, it is in the form of Kyle Jamieson's bowling returns so far (1 for 32 and 0 for 56), but considering New Zealand's series lead, he should be afforded another chance to revert to translating his impressive potential into performances, li Match InfoMatch: NZ vs AUS, 3rd T20I, Australia tour of New Zealand, 2021Date:Thursday, February 25, 2021Toss:Australia won the toss and opt to bowlTime:6:00 AMVenue:University Oval, DunedinUmpires:Chris Gaffaney, Shaun HaigThird Umpire:Chris BrownMatch Referee:Jeff CroweNew Zealand Squad:Playing:Martin Guptill, Tim Seifert (wk), Kane Williamson (c), Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner, Kyle Jamieson, Tim Southee, Ish Sodhi, Trent BoultBench:Mark Chapman, Hamish BennettAustralia Squad:Playing:Matthew Wade (wk), Aaron Finch (c), Josh Philippe, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Ashton Agar, Daniel Sams, Jhye Richardson, Kane Richardson, Adam ZampaBench:Ben McDermott, Andrew Tye, D Arcy Short, Riley Meredith, Tanveer Sangha, Ashton Turner, Jason BehrendorffVenue GuideStadium:University OvalCity:DunedinCapacity:3500 (Increased to 6000 by temporary seating)Ends:Southern End, Northern EndHosts to:Otago, Otago VoltsAlso Hosts:Rugby Follow me on ~Our Facebook Page :\ https://www.facebook.com/crictales ~Instagram Id : https://www.instagram.com/crictales/ ~SnapChat : https://www.snapchat.com/add/wali_crictales ~Twitter username : @crictales OUR CHANNELS CRICTALES https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEU2_ogb5k4k1qC82y8jZ8A CRICTALES LIVE https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChorvwD5QrJ8mDTvSS70KhA Techno Records https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnHzxEsUqjDdZ8cPjH4NBEQ Thanks for Watching Regards Wasif Ali
