Team news: Pakistan: The home team's concerns will be centred around their best bowling combination, and with the likes of Mohammad Nawaz, and the in-form spinner Abrar Ahmed who has come into the squad on the back of a good domestic season, amongst the back-up options, they'd be forced to rethink their combination from the Rawalpindi Test. Squad: Abdullah Shafique, Imam-ul-Haq, Azhar Ali, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan, Agha Salman, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Ali, Zahid Mahmood, Shan Masood, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Nauman Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Abrar Ahmed England: The visitors have announced their playing eleven, making only one change from the first Test. Probable XI: Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes, Will Jacks, Ollie Robinson, Jack Leach, Mark Wood, James Anderson

Legspinner Abrar Ahmed, one of the four slow bowling options, had been called up into the squad after a good domestic season, and could be in line for a debut. Squad: Babar Azam, Abdullah Shafique, Azhar Ali, Imam ul Haq, Shan Masood, Agha Salman, Saud Shakeel, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Nauman Ali, Mohammad Rizwan, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Abrar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Zahid Mahmood, Mohammad Ali. England:After making their intent clear of prioritising a win or a loss over draws, England have adopted a high-risk, high-reward brand of cricket so far. It has yielded them good results at home so far. But this will be their first challenge away from home, and in conditions that are vastly different. Their approach here will therefore be of much interest. Probable XI: Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes, Ben Foakes, Liam Livingstone, Ollie Robinson, Jack Leach, James Anderson.

FOR BUSSINESS & PROMOTION CONTECT ME AT INSTA : CONTECTCRICTALES@GMAIL.COM T20 World Cup 2022 : PAKISTAN vs INDIA MATCH 16 LIVE PREVIEW | IND VS PAK 16th MATCH LIVE TOPIC COVERED IN THE VIDEO : PAK VS IND LIVE IND VS PAK LIVE PAKISTAN MATCH LIVE TODAY PTV SPORTS LIVE PAKISTAN VS INDIA LIVE INDIA VS PAKISTAN TODAY MATCH LIVE CRICKET MATCH TODAY LIVE CRICKET LIVE LIVE COMMENTARY #INDvsPAK#t20worldcup #LIVE PREVIEW When: India vs Pakistan, ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022, October 23, 19:00 Local, 13:30 IST Where: Melbourne Cricket Ground What to expect: Showers. Those in the ICC and in the broadcast teams have kept a close track of Sunday's forecast for a week now. It must be said that it has improved in the last few days given the grim prediction a week out. But given that rain is expected around match start time, delays are likely. It could even come down to being a snappy batting shoot-out between the sides and therefore favour the chasing team. If the toss is delayed and the game heavily curtailed, expect captains to knock off a bowler in favour of hitting reinforcements. There are no reserve days for this group game. T20I Head to Head:India 8-3 Pakistan (includes India's Bowl-Out win in 2007) Team Watch: India Injured/Unavailable: India have a clean bill of health to report. Mohammed Shami, the latest entrant to the squad, warmed up with a long bowling stint in the MCG nets two days out from the game, simulating both PowerPlay and death-overs scenario. Rohit Sharma opined Shami was 'very much ready' and could just jump ahead in the bowling queue. Tactics & Matchups: The game could boil down to a straight fight between the two most prolific opening pairs in T20I cricket. While India's openers -- Rohit Sharma (avg 15.71 at 123.60SR) and KL Rahul (avg 10.33 at 106.90 SR) have particularly bad records against Pakistan, Mohammed Rizwan has flourished in his three games against India, top-scoring in each of Pakistan's two wins in the last 12 months. But he has modest returns against both Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya, the former keeping him to a-run-a-ball, and the latter dismissing him twice in 21 balls. India used the short ball against Babar and most of Pakistan's line-up during their recent Asia Cup win, a strategy that could be in for an encore at the MCG with its big square boundary. Meanwhile, If India do draft Shami in place of Harshal Patel, they'll also have to compensate for Harshal's batting prowess in the lower-order which could see R. Ashwin come in, in place of Yuzvendra Chahal. It would not be a match-up disadvantage for India as Pakistan have struggled against right-arm finger spinners since the last World Cup (lost 12 wickets, RR: 6.54). Ashwin himself has been excellent against right-handers, going at less than six per over bowling to right-handers in the same period. Probable XI: Rohit Sharma (c), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin/Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel/Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh Pakistan Injured/Unavailable: Shan Masood copped a blow to the side of his head at the nets session on Friday and had to be rushed to the hospital for scans. He has no symptomatic concerns and Babar confirmed he was ready for the game. Fakhar Zaman, however, hasn't recovered completely from his knee injury and is likely to miss at least the first two games. Tactics & Matchups: Outside of Shaheen Afridi's opening burst, Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz will be central to Pakistan's match-up play in the contest for more than one reason. Not only has leg spin + left-arm orthodox has proved to be extremely effective against India's right-heavy top-order, Shadab and Nawaz will also be ready to float up the order as pinch hitters and disrupt India's rhythms and patterns. It's a ploy that has borne reasonable success recently, including in the Asia Cup win versus India. Probable XI: Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Shan Masood, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Asif Ali, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi

But since then, Kane Williamson's army has won hattrick of games, defeating Bangladesh twice and Pakistan once, thereby headlining in the finals. Meanwhile, Pakistan has been equally formidable in the Tri-series winning three out of the four matches, losing one against New Zealand. They come off a close victory against Bangladesh in their latest confront, chasing a target of 174 with one ball and seven wickets to spare. WHAT TO EXPECT: Pakistan is likely to form with the same combinations, but their middle and lower middle-order batting has been a huge concern. Haider Ali and Iftikhar Ahmed have been a despair for the side for a long time now. On the flip side, one can expect Captain Kane Williamson and Mitchell Santner to return for the all-important final as they were rested for the previous game. Finn Allen played a great knock in the previous contest and therefore he could be given a nod. But the interrogation will be where are we gonna see Kane Williamson and Martin Guptill bat. Perhaps, Mark Chapman and Ish Sodhi shall make way for the NZ skipper and Santner. Head-to-Head in the last five matches between the two nations, Pakistan has got the extra edge with three wins under their name. The equation is 1-1 in the ongoing event, and both sides will be blazing all guns to yield a victory, which in return will be a great morale boost for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
