Hinton had 16 points and 7 boards. Harris had 11 boards and 4 blocked shots. Houston trailed 30-25 but finished the first half with 13-1 run. In the second half, Houston led 49-44 when freshman guard Marcus Sasser scored 9 straight for Houston during a 15-5 run. Sasser scored a game-high 21 points. Houston is 22-7 overall and 12-4 in the AAC. Houston and Tulsa are tied for first in the conference. Cincinnati is 18-10, 11-5.

Russ scored 36 points tonight in the Rockets' 116-105 win over the Celtics. Russ has 36 or more while shooting 54.0% or better in each of his past three games which ties for the longest streak by any player since a 4-game span by Shaq from Nov. 18 to Nov. 24, 1999 (15 other 3-game streaks since then).

James Harden's locker room comments after the Rockets lost 114-113 to the Utah Jazz on a 3-point bucket by Bojan Bogdanovic at the buzzer. Harden had 28 points, 10 boards and 10 dimes for his 45th career triple-double.

James Harden scored 40 points in the Rockets' 117-109 win over the Pelicans. For the game, the Rockets were outrebounded 63-44; but, Houston won the boards battle 21-12 in the 4th quarter.
Harden: "Tonight we played well. Obviously, they were missing a few of their players."
James Harden scored 27 points in the Rockets' 121-105 win over the Nuggets to snap the Rockets' 4-game losing streak. Denver was without Jamal Murray, Paul Millsap, Mason Plumlee, Michael Porter Jr, and Gary Harris.
