He was drafted 31st overall by the Patriots of the 2018 NFL Draft. Michel played college football at Georgia. 2019 Season During Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins, Michel rushed 21 times for 83 yards and his first rushing touchdown of the season in the 43-0 shoutout road victory. Three weeks later against the Washington Redskins, he rushed 16 times for 91 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 32 yards in the 33-7 road victory. Two weeks later against the New York Jets, Michel rushed 19 times for 42 yards and three touchdowns in the 33-0 shutout road victory. Overall, Michel finished the 2019 season with 912 rushing yards and seven touchdowns along with 12 receptions for 94 yards. He spent the first 20 seasons of his career with the New England Patriots, playing in nine Super Bowls and winning six of them (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX, XLIX, LI, and LIII), both of which are the most of any player in NFL history. He has won a record four Super Bowl MVP awards (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XLIX, and LI) as well as three NFL MVP awards (2007, 2010, 2017).[a] Because of his numerous records and accolades, many sports writers, commentators, and players consider Brady to be the greatest NFL player of all time. 2019 season On August 4, 2019, one day after his 42nd birthday, Brady signed a two-year contract extension worth $70 million that covered both the 2020 and the 2021 seasons; the terms of the contract allowed Brady to become a free agent after the 2019 season. Against the 2019 Patriots salary cap Brady was the highest-paid player on the team at $21.5 million. Brady began his 20th NFL season by completing 24 of 36 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns in a 33–3 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The next week, in a 43–0 win over the Miami Dolphins, Brady completed 20 out of 28 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns; in addition, he also scored a rushing touchdown. During a 33–7 victory against the Washington Redskins in Week 5, Brady surpassed Brett Favre for third place on the all-time passing yards list and finished only 17 yards short of tying his former rival Peyton Manning for second place. On the first drive of the following week against the New York Giants, Brady surpassed Manning to take over second place on the all-time passing yards list, behind only New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. However, Brady struggled during the second half of the season, and the Patriots lost three out of their next five games following an 8–0 start, including back-to-back losses in Weeks 13 and 14 against the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs. Brady's career passer rating dropped from fourth to sixth highest among qualified QBs in NFL history. In Week 15, against the Cincinnati Bengals, Brady moved to within one touchdown of tying Peyton Manning on the all-time passing touchdowns list with 538. In the Patriots’ 34–13 victory, which guaranteed the team a spot in the playoffs for an 11th straight season, Brady had 128 passing yards and two touchdowns. Brady played in his final regular season game with the Patriots two weeks later, in Week 17 at home against the Miami Dolphins. Brady threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns, but also threw an interception that was returned by former Patriots teammate Eric Rowe for a touchdown. The game ended with the Dolphins defeating the Patriots 27–24; this result, combined with a win by the Chiefs, denied New England a first round bye for the first time in 10 years. The first of Brady's two touchdowns against Miami in Week 17 was the 540th of his career, moving him ahead of Peyton Manning for the second most touchdown passes in NFL history. For the first time since the 2008 season, the year when he tore his ACL, Brady was not selected to the Pro Bowl. That season as the Patriots' defense that was winning games while the offense was stagnant, Brady told friends that he "felt Belichick had taken the offense for granted because of how good it had been for so long" and said to NBC that he was the "most miserable 8–0 quarterback in the NFL." He played college football at the University of Kentucky, and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. 2019 Season On March 19, 2019, Cobb signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys. Cobb caught his first touchdown with the Cowboys in the first week of the 2019 season with 9:48 left in the third quarter in their home opener against the New York Giants. Cobb finished the game with four catches for 69 yards and a touchdown in the 35–17 win. In Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football, Cobb caught six passes for 106 yards and a touchdown in the 28–24 loss. During Week 11 against the Detroit Lions, Cobb finished with four receptions for 115 receiving yards and a touchdown as the Cowboys won 35-27.
