2011 NBA Re Draft: Jimmy Butler | Kawhi Leonard | Kyrie Irving | Klay Thompson
It's weird looking back in 2011 where everybody thought it was only one potential franchise player in the draft which was Kyrie Irving. It's been some time since the 2011 NBA Draft and a lot of players have flourished since. This draft featured plenty of future All-Stars, as well as a number of bad players who were selected before great ones. There might not be a single draft in the last decade more intriguing to reconsider a few years down the line, with legitimate NBA talent all the way from first overall to, literally, the 60th pick of the draft. I will re-do the 2011 lottery, and together we can imagine a world in which scouting is a science and not a blind dart throw. Kawhi Leonard or Jimmy Butler? Klay Thompson or Kyrie Irving? The right answers to these questions could have really changed the direction of the NBA. One of the busiest offseasons in recent memory shook up the NBA landscape dramatically, but one thing remains clear despite flurries of high-profile player movement: The Golden State Warriors will return to the hardwood in October as the unequivocal favorites to repeat as champions. There are plenty of interesting questions heading the season: Can the Boston Celtics avenge last year's Eastern Conference Finals loss to the Cavaliers? Will the Milwaukee Bucks make a leap? Are the Philadelphia 76ers capable of staying healthy and contending for a playoff spot? In this video, the Southeast Division will be the focus. On Paper, this a 3 team division. The Wizards, Hornets and the Heat will be battling it out to claim the division title, while Orlando will try to establish themselves and the Hawks enter rebuild mode.
