Kansas City Chiefs Rumors are buzzing around Eric Bieniemy as he’s a HOT NFL head coach candidate. Bieniemy has completed interviews with the Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars. If Bieniemy gets a head coaching job, Andy Reid will have to find a new offensive coordinator for the Chiefs for the 2021 NFL Season. Eric Bieniemy replacements start with the obvious candidate: Mike Kafka. Kafka has served as the Chiefs’ QBs coach since 2018 and is highly regarded within the Chiefs organization and around the NFL. If Bieniemy becomes an NFL head coach, Kafka instantly becomes the top candidate to take over as the Chiefs’ offensive coordinator. Other candidates include Duce Staley and Brad Childress, both of whom have prior relationships and history with Andy Reid.
