Eden Hazard sends a message to Chelsea fans following Champions League final win vs Man City. Chelsea laid their hands on the UEFA Champions League crown for the second time in their history with a 1-0 win over Manchester City in Saturday's final at the Estadio do Dragao. Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard has admitted that he did not celebrate Chelsea's UEFA Champions League final triumph over Manchester City on Saturday evening in Porto. After getting the better of Madrid at the semi-final stage, the Blues, who will discover their fixture list for the 2021/22 Premier League season later this month, went all the way to lift the trophy for the second time in their history with a 1-0 win at the Estadio do Dragao. Club-record signing Kai Havertz netted the only goal of the game shortly before the halftime interval when he latched onto Mason Mount's expertly-weighted through ball, knocked the ball beyond Ederson in the City goal, and then into the back of an empty net. That proved to be enough for the Blues to get the job done, meaning head coach Thomas Tuchel, who has only been in the job since the end of January, got the better of Pep Guardiola and City for the third time in the space of just six weeks. With the campaign has now reached its conclusion, attention now switches to transfer activity, with Tuchel keen to add three new faces to his squad in an attempt to bolster his armory ahead of the 2021/22 season getting started. One of the names to have been closely linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent weeks is Hazard, with reports in Spain that have claimed that the Belgium winger wants to leave the club and seal a return to Chelsea. Hazard still has a strong affiliation with the club, something that was evident when he returned to his former stomping ground last month for the semi-final showdown between the two clubs. At the end of the game, which finished 2-0 in the Blues' favor, Hazard was spotted laughing and joking with Edouard Mendy and Kurt Zouma. It was hardly the impression you would want to give to your supporters and teammates after losing a Champions League semi-final. After coming under intense pressure for what happened, many probably expected Hazard to jubilantly celebrate Chelsea's win on Saturday evening, but he insists that was not the case, although he conceded that he was happy for a "couple of friends" within the squad. When asked if he celebrated Chelsea's win over City, Hazard said: "Of course not, I’m a Real Madrid player so I am not happy. "I am just happy for a couple of friends in the team, but I hope next season it’s for Real Madrid." Hazard, ahead of the European Championship getting underway next week, has also been asked about his future holds, given that recent reports have claimed that he wants to leave the La Liga heavyweights. However, the Belgian has played down those claims, insisting he is happy at the Bernabeu and focused on next season. "I don't see myself leaving Real Madrid right away," he added. "My first two years weren't great due to injuries. When I'm fit, I can do great things for the clubs. "Now I want to think about the European Championship first. Then I will give everything for Real." Hazard, of course, will be playing under a different manager next season following Carlo Ancelotti's appointment yesterday. please subscribe, like, share and feel free to comment... A big shout for a penalty as Werner goes does under pressure from Tielemans, but it’s the Leicester man who gets the free kick. ...and there comes that famous chant towards the referee about him working at a bank or something. Werner scores, looks to the sky and celebrates... but it's offside. How many times has that happened to him this season?! Free header for Vardy from the corner, James just turned his back on him. Dan Kilpatrick at Stamford Bridge You could compile a decent list of unfortunate Timo Werner moments and that offside goal was another. A few inches the other way and Chelsea would deservedly lead. Mount brings the ball down with his back to goal, inside the area, turns and shoots across the face of goal and wide. The corner is then headed over by Thiago Silva. They are knocking on the door. A big worry for Chelsea as Kante is forced off through injury. He shares a few words with Tuchel and heads straight down the tunnel. Werner looks to have scored another but it’s disallowed for handball! Werner's goal is disallowed for a blatant handball, Chelsea fans sing: "It's not football anymore." So close! Mount wriggles free on the left-hand side before firing into Pulisic at the near post, which Schmeichel clears. Chelsea’s 11th attempt on goal to Leicester’s one. Whatever Brendan Rodgers’ said at half-time might count for little now after a flying start to the second half from Chelsea, the breakthrough finally provided by an unlikely source in Rudiger. Heart-in-mouth time for Chelsea as Mount is down clutching his knee. After a long chat with the medics, he will be OK to continue. Iheanacho coming on for Leicester. Rudiger dances past one, two, three, four Leicester players before being wiped out by Tielemans. Fans cheering him on. He’s in the mood. Maddison makes way for Iheanacho. Maddison is subbed off after a tepid evening. Chelsea fans remind him of such, and Maddison mimes lifting the FA Cup. PENALTY TO CHELSEA 65min: Werner wins a spotkick! GOAL! 67min: Jorginho makes no mistake. That's all for now from Stamford Bridge. Please do not forget to subscribe, like, share and comment. Thanks for watching. https://youtu.be/nJKneumEUIc

Before we start the video, please subscribe, like and feel free to comment. - -Defeat leaves Chelsea with Champions League uncertainty Tuchel takes full ‘responsibility’ for seven changes to side. -Thomas Tuchel blamed himself for fielding a much-changed lineup that lost narrowly to Arsenal, saying his side received a “wake-up call” that leaves them uncertain of Champions League qualification via the domestic route with two games left. -Chelsea were overwhelmingly dominant against Mikel Arteta’s visitors but missed golden chances in both halves and conceded a 16th minute winner to Emile Smith Rowe after a calamitous error from Jorginho. Tuchel bemoaned their lack of intensity and admitted the seven changes he made, with an eye on Saturday’s FA Cup final against Leicester, did not help. “It is our fault, nobody else’s,” he said. “We lost the game, it’s totally our responsibility. Overall we were not sharp enough, we could not put up the same intensity as usual. “Maybe I made too many changes from the last match so I take full responsibility for that, and maybe it’s the last wake-up call for us. I felt it a little bit coming in training yesterday and I’m a bit unlucky that it is proven today on the pitch. We had three days [to prepare], we had a good run and were in a good mood, but the choices were not so good on my side for the lineup so this is on me. “We were unlucky but we did everything today to lose. I’m not happy with my lineup, I should not have done it like this.” Tuchel suspected his selection offered the wrong messages: “Maybe also I gave some signals to the team with changes that Saturday is on my mind, even if it’s only 5% or 1%.” Chelsea will still make certain of a top-four place if they win a league game against Leicester three days after the cup final and an away fixture at Aston Villa. Defeating Manchester City in the Champions League final would also ensure they qualify for next season’s competition. No such permutations are available to Arteta although Arsenal’s win, their first at Stamford Bridge for 10 years, means they retain a chance of a place in the new Conference League. “It is mathematically possible, we keep saying that,” Arteta said, but most of his post-match energy appeared to be directed at the reporting of pre-match comments he made about his players’ development. “Inside nothing is broken,” he said. “They will try to put things on me that I never said. You can see the spirit of the team from the first minute. You can never doubt the effort and how much they try.” That's all for now from Stamford Bridge.
