Highlights | Plymouth Argyle 2-0 Bristol Rovers
Two goals from an inspired Niall Ennis ensured all three points remained at Home Park to end a tricky run of results for the Pilgrims. Despite the bad luck over recent weeks, Argyle have still produced good performances, and the belated reward arrived when Ennis slotted home the opener on seven minutes. The Pilgrims proceeded to dominate the first period and grabbed a crucial second when Ennis fired in a tremendous finish on the stroke of half-time. Argyle felt the pain at MK Dons after fighting back with immense spirit to equalise a first-half header from Cameron Jerome. A Conor Grant special levelled matters on the hour for the Pilgrims and there was terrific intensity and endeavour from the men in Green, but the hosts pinched all three points with a last-minute penalty from Scott Fraser. Argyle manager Ryan Lowe made two changes from the narrow defeat at Ipswich on Saturday, with Lewis Macleod and Adam Lewis dropping out.
