Jacob deGrom, the Cy Young contender of the New York Mets, was still superb but wasn't himself against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He pitched only 68 in the 5 innings. The Mets were optimistic about his status but soon decided to place him on the injury list with right side tightness. Let's hope the Degrominator comes back healthy! n.b.
