However, Cristian finally broke the deadlock through his header, with ten minutes remaining, thanks to the assist from Moirangthem Thoiba. ISL 2021-22, JFC vs ATKMB Match Highlights (Game 20): Jamshedpur FC sink ATK Mohun Bagan 2-1
It turned out to be an unexpectedly thrilling encounter between Jamshedpur FC (JFC) and ATK Mohun Bagan (ATKMB) at the GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim (Goa) on Monday. JFC emerged victorious, defeating ATKMB 2-1, with Seimeinlen Doungel (37) and Alex (84) getting the job done for JFC. While JFC has climbed to the second spot, ATKMB slips to fifth. There were seven initial attempts in the opening half before Doungel handed JFC the lead in the 37th, thanks to the assist from Jitendra Singh. Nevertheless, CFC was marginally better in terms of attacks, as both sides settled for a point each in a deserving fashion. “A clean sheet, a point is always a positive result. We still want the first win. We are not happy without wins out of the four games. The next game is our chance to win, and we are playing against a team that is also struggling. They are a good team, but we have our chances against them. We have three-four days to recover. It was a thrilling and competitive Game 15 of the 2021-22 Indian Super League (ISL) between Jamshedpur FC (JFC) and Hyderabad FC (HFC) at the JMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim (Goa) on Thursday. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Greg Stewart (41) and Bartholomew Ogbeche (57) being the goal-scorers. While JFC stays fifth in the table, HFC is placed sixth. After eight opening attacks in the first half, it was in the 40th minute when Stewart pounded in an assist from Ricky Lallawmawma with his right foot from the left flank of the box to the top right. There were no further attacks in the half, as JFC maintained its lead at half-time. There were a couple of attempts from JFC in the second half until the 51st minute. A couple of minutes later, Ogbeche fired in the equaliser with the right foot to the centre from just outside the box, while Joao Victor came up with the assist. It turned out to be an absolute thriller in Game 13 of the 2021-22 Indian Super League (ISL) between Odisha FC (OFC) and SC East Bengal (SCEB). In what turned out to be a ten-goal thriller, OFC fired past SCEB 6-4 at the Tilak Maidan in Vasco da Gama (Goa) on Tuesday. With this win, OFC has risen to the second spot, while SCEB stays tenth, winless in its opening three games. It all started in the 12th minute when Darren Sidoel put SCEB ahead, only for Héctor Rodas to equalise 20 minutes later following an assist from Javi Hernández. In contrast, the latter put OFC in the lead at 39 with another Hernández assist. Hernández fired in the third for OFC in a complex sole effort five minutes later, as it led 3-1 at half-time. The drama unfolded in the second half when Aridai Cabrera scored the fourth for OFC in the 70th before Thongkhosiem Haokip pulled one back for SCEB ten minutes later. Isak Vanlalruatfela scored the fifth for OFC in the 82nd, while Daniel Chima Chukwu scored the third for SCEB seven minutes later, while in the 91st, he added the fourth for the side. However, Cabrera scored the sixth for OFC in the next minute to seal its win. CFC ensured a narrow 2-1 win, with Lallianzuala Chhangte (41) and Anirudh Thapa (74) being the goal scorers. The opening half saw seven attempts, including three saves, until the 40th minute when Chhangte put CFC ahead with his left-footed strike from the right-hand side of the box into the centre. It was followed by four more attempts, including a save from NEUFC goalkeeper Shubasish Roy Chowdhury, as CFC maintained its lead at half-time. In the second half, after an attack, Vishal Kaith scored a goal into his own net to hand NEUFC the equaliser in the 49th. There were eight more attempts thereon, including another save from CFC goalkeeper Kaith. While MCFC was the favourite to win this clash, HFC pulled off an upset, downing the champion 3-1. MCFC is placed fourth, while HFC has risen to the fifth. MCFC scored the opener in the fifth minute, which happened to be the opening attack of the game, with Ahmed Jahouh firing from the centre of the box. After an attempt from HFC, it won a penalty in the 12th minute, with Joao Victor successfully converting it and drawing level. After eight more unsuccessful attempts from both, it was locked 1-1 at half-time. In the second half, after an attack from MCFC, Bartholomew Ogbeche put HFC in the lead at 52nd, following an assist from Aniket Jadhav. After five more attempts, HFC scored its third, thanks to Rohit Danu's strike six yards outside the right side of the box. However, it was one-way traffic from the former, as ATKMB sealed the game within the first half, earning a 3-0 win. The opening half saw an attack each before Roy Krishna put ATKMB ahead in the 11th minute, following a cross assist from Pritam Kotal. A couple of minutes later, Manvir Singh doubled the lead with a through ball assist from Joni Kauko. With SCEB still reeling from the shock, Liston Colaco tripled the lead in the 22nd minute from a steep angle, effectively scoring the winner and sealing the fate of the derby. Seven more attempts followed, with ATKMB maintaining the lead at half-time. In the second half, 11 more chances were created. While both teams were active, it was ATKMB that dominated with possession and attempts.
