In this video we take a look at today's tier 2 clash between Russia and Chile in Sochi. This is the second of a two game series between the sides. Chile have had a historically good season, and last week's one point away in Europe has already capped it off well. However, Russia will be determined to right the wrong of their defeat to Chile last week and Spain the week before and look to physically dominate their South American opponents and salvage some momentum. Springboks vs Lions Test II & Sevens Gold for Fiji in Tokyo! | The Overlap Rugby Podcast #101

It's ORP 101 and we'll once again be spending the bulk of the show looking at the Lions, starting by looking back on how they secured Test 1 with an inspired comeback against the Springboks. We'll then touch on some of the news on tour, including Rassie Erasmus' bizarre midweek video before pivoting into this weekend's action with our Test 2 preview. We then look to RWC 2023 Qualifiers starting with Tonga's comprehensive win over the Cook Islands, then South American matters as Uruguay proved too strong for Brazil before wrapping up our Rugby Europe Championship coverage for the time being. Afterwards we look to Tokyo as Fiji have claimed their second ever Gold Medal in the Mens' Sevens, defeating New Zealand in the Final. We review the Olympic action so far and look ahead to the Women's Sevens which is now underway too. In club rugby, we have a look ahead to this weekend's MLR Final in the USA. Both Conference Finals were played last week and we have our final pairing. Finally we wrap up with the Rugby News of the Week.
