England were denied a dramatic win after a late error by goalkeeper Nick Pope halted a superb comeback and gifted Germany an equaliser in the Uefa Nations League clash at Wembley which saw a flurry of goals in a pulsating second half display. Germany looked on course for victory after Gündogan 52' slotted a penalty and Havertz 67' doubling the lead. Luke Shaw pulled one back then a superb first time strike from substitute Mason Mount and a Harry Kane penalty took the Three Lions into the lead with minutes remaining. Pope could handle a bouncing shot from Serge Gnabry with three minutes left, leaving Havertz to tap in from close range.
