Why The Raptors REALLY Have The BEST Trade Package For Kevin Durant
Seemingly out of nowhere the Toronto Raptors have emerged as one of the FAVOURITES to land Kevin Durant through a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. When KD originally requested a trade right before the NBA free agency opened up, the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat emerged very quickly as the best candidates to land the superstar power forward but since then, the Raptors have really picked up a lot of steam. The reality is the Raptors have a ton of great assets available to trade and control of a lot of their trade assets going forward. The Nets will be looking to land the rookie of the year Scottie Barnes, but Masai Ujiri, Bobby Webster and the rest of the Raptors front office should hold firm on the fact that he is untouchable. Gary Trent Jr and Pascal Siakam are certainly on the table and there is even a possibility of star man and recent All-NBA member Pascal Siakam being inserted into the trade. There are going to be a lot of teams trying to make anything work the get Kevin Durant, but based on the evidence and contractual restrictions the Toronto Raptors are legitimately in the BEST position to acquire Durant through a trade.
