As games go, you can’t ask for much more apart from goals. End to end football. Good play on the ball, even the occasional showboating. But the finishing today was poor from both sides. Endless chances where the goal was left gaping. But nothing apart from a misread cross to show for itself. One day I will see Bristol city win live, but today it just wasn’t the case. From an Un-bias point of view I would say that Bristol City were far the better side, but fair play to Fulham and best of luck to the rest of their cup journey! After taking the lead and missing some big chances, we thought we would be leaving the game with all three points but after some second half domination and valiant efforts from the away side, they took the lead late on. But thankfully the man who’s deflection almost buried us, resurrected our spirits late on to help us leave with a point which in hindsight seems fair. A rollercoaster of emotions to say the least but definitely some of the best chants and overall atmosphere I have witnessed in a while.
