They back up their dominant offensive performance with another fantastic game! Gerrit Cole was filthy right out of the gate. He had a no hitter through five innings and only allowed three hits in seven innings pitched. The Yankees’ ace had A LOT of support as well. Kyle Higashioka went yard THREE TIMES! Voit hit his MLB leading 19th home run, LeMahieu got a pair of homers tonight and Frazier went yard to top it off! Just fantastic from the Yankees. Back-to-back great offensive and pitching games for New York! They are a very SCARY team once again! New York Yankees Vs. Toronto Blue Jays | Game Highlights | 9/15/20

20 RUNS! The Bombers dominated this game against the Blue Jays and showed off some tremendous power! This was by far the best game the Yankees have played this season. Everything was working. Deivi Garcia had a great performance on the mound and the Yankees offense was nothing short of phenomenal. Luke Voit (AL MVP) went yard twice, Hicks went yard, Sánchez went yard, Frazier went yard and LeMahieu hit a home run off of a 49mph curveball. They scored a total of 20 runs on 16 hits and batted around in three straight innings. They performed great in game one of the most important series of the year and take a half a game lead over the Blue Jays for second place in the AL East! The Bombers are back at it tomorrow night for game two, giving the ball to their ace Gerrit Cole as they look to win their seventh in a row. First pitch is at 7:05 PM EST. LET’S GO YANKEES!
