And right fully so. Now to put things in the right perspective. its incredable that a player made the finals 10 times, but here is where we have to look very close. how did lebron james accomplish this? first he was playing in a very week eastern conference. this was a time where you only had 2-3 solid teams in the east, and all the good teams played in the western conference. then 2, apart from the year where lebron took the cavs to the finals in 2007, he always had at least 2 other superstars on his team. when he played for the miami heat he played with chris bosh and dwayne wade. who were 2 top 10 players at that time. oh and did you ever here of a guy called ray allen? then he played for the cavaliers with kyrie irving and kevin love. again 2 other top 10 players. then with the los angelos lakers he played with anthony davis but i mean comon it was the bubble... but more on this later. last year lebron was kicked out of the playoffs in the first round. which looked a little something like this... mj made it to the nba finals 6 times in 15 years , lebron 10 times in 18 years Jordan never lost a nba final, jordan retired at the peak of his career which means if he continued to play you might have 1 or 2 more finals appearances. any way, no matter what lebron james will do, his record here will never look as impressive at michael jordans. because the most impressive feed is when you are undefeated. Accolades Now again, we have to make sure that we mention that lebron james accolades are senstational. I mean the guy was a multipal mvp, nba champ, multipial all star. He won almost everything you can win as a basketball player. but and this is a fact jordan won more accolades in less years. lebron will never be able to compete with jordan in this category since lebron is already in his 19th season and jordan won more accoledos in his 15 years. this picture here says it all... but Jalen Rose had a very interesting rating system in one of his episodes which objectively shows that jordan is realistically not surpassable by lebron james. 1 min jalen rose video (für 1.5 min) the next reason is the legends that Michael Jordan defeated. Lets start with lebron james. he had to play against some of the biggest legends of his era. i mean he face dirk nowitzki, he faced the splash brothers, he faced the san antonio spurs with tim duncan and those guys. and yes beat all of them. but they also all beat lebron james. michael jordan defeated magic johnson, clyde drexler, charles barkley, gary payton and shawn kemp, karl malone and john stockton. twice. also he played in a way tougher era. its not lebrons fault that he is playing in this weak era. but he only had to beat 3-4 good teams. but in jordans era you had at least 6 teams that would seriously compete for a championship. so again not lebrons fault, but reality. Teammates: Now I mentioned early that lebron james was the master recruiter and known for teaming up with the best players in the league. and of course this makes it easier for you to win a championship. Jordan won 6 championships with scottie pippen being the only other all star on his team. Here are the other all stars lebron james played with: Anthony davis, Kevin Love,chris bosh Kyrie Irving, Dwane Wade, fun fact lebron played with 15 all stars on his team. Back in Jordans era there was no teaming up. There was way too much pride and honur. you wanted to beat the other guys, not play with them. yes times have changed, but we from a competitve standpoint you gotta go with jordan here. lebron was the best recruiter, but jordan the best competitor. next we have: You cant call yourself the goat. Now in order to be the goat, other people have to call you the goat. you cant call yourself the goat. and this is what lebron james did. lets see what other legends have to say about that Now its understandable that people call lebron the goat. especially when your younger and you have never seen michael jordan play. but objectively speaking lebron cant surpass jordan. you cant beat the perfect basketball career. there are too many weak points in lebron career. the teaming up, all the lost finals, loosing in the first round, the weak finals performances etc. And yes lebron james is still putting up impressive numbers. but please
