Match Report: It was a bitter blow for Annan after working hard to come from behind after Lamont opened the scoring for Clyde in the 66th minute, with the goal coming against the run of play after Annan’s best spell of the game. Blair Currie was sent off in the 83rd minute for violent conduct after a foul on Tommy Muir. Wallace stepped up to fire the spot kick home. Annan kept pushing for the win but in the third minute of added time, a long Clyde through in caused mayhem in the Annan box and Martin McNiff fired home from close range to send the crowd wild. With the game kicking off against our ex-assistant manager's team, the Galabankies are put 1-0 ahead of Stirling Albion with an amazing header from Tony Wallace in the 20th minute. Annan would go on to have most of the possession throughout the first half with some good chances but the halftime score ended on one goal to nothing for Albion. Just ten minutes after kickoff from the second half, Dylan Mackin makes a tremendous strike putting it into the corner of the net. Ryan Sinnamon bags a goal for the Galabankies in the 72nd minute putting the black & yellows in front. Annan and Queens Park fought out a hard-earned draw in an evenly contested match at the National Stadium on Saturday. it was the Spiders fourth consecutive match that they have not conceded and it was Annan’s third consecutive match that they have not conceded and with both teams on form going into the match. The only thing lacking in the match was goals with neither team doing enough to lift all the points. (Thumbnail by Fraser Marr, Queen's Park Football Club.)
