WHAT A WIN! What a day though. I turn up to the ground and dotted around the ground is a message regarding the player wages resulting in the player’s refusing to warm up as the chairman was there as a protest against him. Then they come out and play at did they get come out of the traps fast. Fleet got the early goal with a fizzed ball in with an own goal ending in the back of the net putting the fleet in front. Fleet continued the pressure as Wrexham were poor. Fleet getting a corner a header from cheek who headed home for his 14th then shortly tapping home for his 15th to make it 3-0 to the fleet at half time incredible. Then 2nd half started Wrexham got an early but fleet continued to play creating a good chance for cheek for his hat-trick but he couldn’t take. Then another scrappy goal for Wrexham with pinball in the box allowing them to get back into it. Then they had another 1 on 1 and Ashmore saved us again. Then fleet killed off the comeback as they sliced up Wrexham leaving Gozie Ugwu to tap home to get the 3 points at Stonebridge to a standing ovation in Kent. Well, 2 wins on the bounce and 6 goals in 2 matches can't argue with that. Bit nervy at the end with wood pushing for the point. The first half, a nice goal from King following up from Ugwu hitting the post. Then a few minutes later a sloppy corner and free wood header allow equalising. Fleet still the better side getting a corner with Magri heading home to put the fleet back in front. Not much else happening in that half. Then very close to the restart looping free week a failed punch from the wood keeper giving it to Bush who smashed it against the bar into the net. Then a second yellow for a Boreham wood. Thinking it would be a relaxed end to the game would pull it back to 3-2 with a few more nervy moments. But fleet held on to the lead to get 6 points behind the playoffs. So what a day and what a win. Not just a win but a 4-0 win and at home. Gary hill’s first goal as fleet manager may be questioned as shaymen claiming goal came off Micheal cheek’s hand but fleet fans not complaining as they celebrate. Few more chances came but none really took but then a free kick on the edge of the area. Who takes it the best player in the league, of course, Chris bush who calmly puts it in the top corner to the surprise of some of the fleet fans. Two nil at half time you just what an early goal to make things comfortable. And so we did as Micheal's cheek was pulled down in the box penalty was rightly given. Kedwell then smashes it home to put us 3-0 ahead and cruising. Cheek probably has best chance to score as he takes it calmly round the keeper but fluffs the so-called easy bit. But Cheek then got his redemption as a long ball from a free kick from Chris bush then flicked on across to cheek to get his brace. Great win and hopefully enjoy the vlog. WINLESS RUN ENDS! Dagenham&Redbridge vs Ebbsfleet United vlog! Kedwell brace!
Bye, bye September you have been annoying haven’t you. But we end it with a great away win at Dagenham. Much deserved one as well. First half we were great free-flowing. We then get the first goal which often makes the difference and we haven’t done it since Eastleigh so it does. A lovely header from Super Chris bush sending the fleet fans wild. We then continue to continue to push. Loads of chances and the new signing of Reise allassani made the difference taking them all on. Weston then gets round the full back which lands at King kedwell who squeezes it in. More chances then come but can’t put them away. Dagenham gets one of few chances forward and they slot it home to give them a chance. The second half came and again more of the same until Whitley was wrestled down by their centre-back giving Ebbsfleet a penalty and their centre-back been given marching order. Kedwell gets his brace with a cool finish. Rest of the game was pretty easy and relaxing. Great win but Harrogate on Saturday is a big test especially with our struggles at home. DANNY ROWE WONDERGOALS! Ebbsfleet United vs AFC Fylde vlog! PLAYOFF BATTLE!
Description WOW, Some pretty decent goals in there. Unfortunately, 2 to Fylde and 1 to fleet meaning Fylde got the three points. First Half, it was poor from both sides and no one created anything of real significance. Second half, Rowe gets some space to make a cross which then ends up going in the far corner to make it 1-0 Fylde but he will say it was a shoot. Another shoot then gets Fylde a free kick with a weird handball even though he was diving in there to block. Rowe then puts that top bins of course he does. Fleet then huff and puff for 20 minutes. Whitley hits one top corner to give us hope to get something. But 10 minutes of trying and a questionable penalty. Fylde was through on goal to make it 3-1 and bringing the 3 points back to Blackpool. Overall pretty poor from fleet but Dover is looking poor as well so hopefully beat them on Tuesday. Nice win! 3 wins in a row. 2 points off the top slightly different feeling to Sutton a few weeks ago. Decent win. Showed our attacking power once again. First-half Eastleigh looked strong first 15 minutes and then have a disallowed. Then had a man sent off with 2 yellow cards. That ruined their momentum and made us dominant. Fleet got into a few good positions but just before Danny kedwell slotted home to make it 1-0 Fleet! The second half then and fleet were a bit better Coulson looked sharp and could have got a hat trick with 3 great chances. ELECTRIC ATMOSPHERE! EBBSFLEET UNITED VS CHESTERFIELD FC VLOG! Amazing away following!
First game of the season! Not a great start for the first day. But still a great atmosphere. First off safe journey home to large away support from spireites and good luck for the season. I was confused when i saw Coulson and Bagasan Graham weren’t even on the bench but Drury who hasn’t played in any pre season games started. We lost the game in midfield in my opinion. But first half we had 2 great chances both from headers and probably should have gone in where Chesterfield didn’t create much. Second half, Martin Allen had fired Chesterfield up and create a lot of chances before the 60th minute. But then a poor challenge from Magri allowed the visitors to get a pen. But it was slotted home to make it 1-0. Fleet still create a few but luck just wasn’t on our side today. We weren’t great but we will need to improve if we want to have a decent start from these tough run of fixtures.
