U17 YFA League: Mqabba FC (2) vs Kalkara FC (2) @ Marsaxlokk ground (08/12/12)

Mqabba FC Under 17 squad today under the guidance of Coach Major Darren Micallef obtained another point after sharing spoils with Kalkara FC. Mqabba FC went on goal with Ryan Vella with Jean Claude Farrugia scoring the second goal for Mqab ba FC. After the half time Mqabba FC conceeded two goals (one from an own goal and the other from a short freekick after referee decided to give Kalkara a direct freekick for wasting of time). Mqabba FC could easily obtained their second win but unfortunately the score ended in a draw. Scorers: Ryan Vella & Jean Claude Farrugia.

U13 Friendly match Mqabba FC (9) vs Kirkop (7) @ Kirkop ground (14-11-2012)

A big well done to the Under 13 squad under Coach Neville Galea for their great performance during today's friendly match against neighbours Kirkop. Match was held at Kirkop ground in a lot of wind and even some isolated showers. Mqabba FC played an excellent first half with the last two 25 minute games being more balanced between the two teams. Final score: Mqabba FC (9) vs Kirkop (7). Scorers: (3) Chrisotphe Cutajar, (3) Francesco Camilleri, Shawn Grech, Eman Scicluna & Karl Ghigo.

U15 YFA League Section C2: Mqabba FC (3) vs Siggiewi FC (0) @ Rabat Ground (10/11/12)

Well done to the Under 15 Squad under Coach Billy Hendy for today's great performance. All the players knew that the 3 points were a must in order to catch up with the current leaders of the section. After a calm start from our end, the team started improving with Karl Saliba scoring for Mqabba FC. During the second half a penalty was missed by Mqabba FC but Karl Saliba scored twice to register a hatrick. Final Score: Mqabba FC (3) - Siggiewi (0). Now Mqabba FC are placing second with Balzan Youths just one point behind Naxxar FC.

U17 YFA League Section C2: Mqabba FC vs Luqa FC @ Siggiewi Ground (04/11/2012)

Mqabba FC went on goal in the early minutes of the first half with Luqa pressing to find the goal. Mqabba FC played an excellent first half but Luqa managed to score the 1-1 goal just before half time. In the second half Luqa went immediately on goal followed by various disputable decisions from the referee which decisions permited Mqabba FC to conceed other two goals. Bernard Briffa scored for Mqabba FC.

U15 YFA League: Mqabba FC (1) vs Naxxar FC (1) - 20/10/2012 @ Ghaxaq Ground

A BIG WELL DONE to our Under 15 team under the Coach Billy Hendy for their great performance during the whole match. The collective effort was the key to the great performance. However, unfortunately the luck was not on our side as the referee allowed 5 whole minutes extra time with Naxxar scoring in the last minute of the match from a direct freekick. The upset could be clearly seen on the faces of all our players as it was clear that Mqabba FC was the best team on the ground and could have obtained the 3 points easily. Scorer: Mark Baldacchino.

Mqabba FC Youth Nursery during the pre-match ceremony of Malta vs Armenia on the 7th September 2012 at the Ta' Qali National Stadium. This was the first competitive match for Malta as part of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
