The Detroit Lions lost to the Indianapolis Colts and the Minnesota Vikings are coming off a big win from the Green Bay Packers. This game will have many quality matchups. Starting with the Offense, Matthew Stafford will be going up against one of the worst Defenses in the NFL. Matthew Stafford needs to attack the Secondary of the Vikings Defense for big plays. The Vikings Secondary is very young and not good. Danny Amendola must get the ball more in this game and be a key player on third downs. The Lions Running Back D’Andre Swift needs to continue to get the ball and be used alot in this game. They must run the football. The Detroit Lions Defense has been shaky for far in 2020. The Minnesota Vikings Offense is not one of the best in the NFL. Kirk Cousins is a veteran Quarterback who can and will make mistakes. The Detroit Lions secondary must be aggressive and get some interceptions. With the Lions Defense one of the worst in the NFL, this is a game they can bounce back from and perform well. The Lions did not do well last year when facing Kirk Cousins twice and with their lack of turnovers, lost the game. The Lions Defense must improve. When it comes to coaching, this is night and day. Matt Patricia has been one of the worst Head Coaches in the NFL and Mike Zimmer has been a very sound coach bringing a high powered Defense. From a coaching staff standpoint, the Lions are outmatched. The Detroit Lions Special Teams have done well in the punting department but must improve on kicking and kick returns.
