MLB umpires are so bad on the field that it was deemed necessary to have instant replay to correct their mistakes. Except many times the Replay Umpires CONFIRM correct calls and OVERTURN wrong calls!! Yesterday in the Atlanta Braves vs Philadelphia Phillies game, Alec Bohm was called safe on a slide into home plate where his foot never touched the base. The New York Reply Umpires did NOT overturn the call! I am reminded of a few years back when Brandon Crawford hit a home run against the Cardinals but the MLB Replay Umpires OVERTURNED the CORRECT CALL and said GROUND RULE DOUBLE on a ball that was CLEARLY a home run!!
