Hollywood has always been a land of intrigue, cunning, and cutthroat tactics. To the joy of many in the basketball world, the Los Angeles Lakers have adopted many of the negative aspects of Tinseltown. Countless cases of backstabbing and betrayal, organizational nepotism, public outbursts of drama, and some really bad basketball. At the very least, the Lakers know how to put on a good show... for all the wrong reasons. This video will show you what went wrong. Buckle in, there's a lot that did.
Congrats, Golden Knights! (2019)
You had it. You had it all in the palm of your hand... and then you did that. The Golden Knights collapsed spectacularly, not only blowing a 3-1 series lead, but blowing a 3-0 lead in a game seven where they were dominating play. Of course, all I've been hearing about is how awful the penalty was and how Vegas got screwed out of a victory. That's a bad excuse for them. When you look deeper into it, the Golden Knights beat themselves repeatedly. Why is nobody paying attention to the whole four power play goals in five minutes thing? What happened to self-reflection? Congrats, Vegas. You've experienced what every other franchise has. You're one of us now.

Cody Parkey is the most accurate kicker of our times. You may see a kicker who can't make a field goal, but what I see is a guy who can nail the crossbar at any given moment. This is a gift that should be cherished for ages. Enshrine those shoes in Canton, for shanking the posts with consistency hasn't been seen in our lifetimes. And yes, the legend of Big Dick Nick rolls on.

The Oilers are a team that glorifies its storied past, yet ignores the issues that plague it today. In fact, their solution to these dilemmas are throwing more relics from the past at it. In other words, this team is Al Bundy. The Oilers may as well be a shoe salesman that opines for the glory days of the past. It seems to be all they're good for, anymore. As for why the Oilers are in this situation, this video will attempt to explain their many, many, many self-inflicted wounds. Even then, it may not be enough.

Behold a team that captivated the baseball world about two-and-a-half years ago with their shopping spree acquisitions of big-name players. It ended up blowing up in the Padres faces. Who knew that "winning" the offseason means nothing at all? Today, the Padres are paying penance for their gluttonous splurge that offseason. Millions of dollars of dead money and deliberate tanking are the punishments given. So what are the Padres like now? You don't even want to know how grotesque they have become...
