I kinda feel guilty that it's not long enough. But then again, this is without all the stuff that happened at the trade deadline. That's going to be its own separate video. What this video's about is on all the happenings during Week Eight. It wasn't overly insane, like past weeks. Excluding one game, of course. That will also be separate, because I'm a glutton for punishment.

The season has reached the grinding phase: Where attrition happens at an alarming rate. Where chaos continues to reign supreme. Where the football is surprisingly bad due to lack of fundamentals and technique on offense. There were some really rough games to watch this season. Perhaps it's simulating how the world's going to shit or something. Call it ironic art? Or maybe it's simulating how shitty this show is? I don't know. Here's week seven Sportsball in all of its "glory".
First of all, my apologies for the extreme lateness of this video. I was hoping to get it done last weekend, but unfortunately a bunch of things happened in football and baseball and forced me to push this back. However, I have a morbid enjoyment of the sport of hockey, so the love of the NHL will remain absolute. There was a good bit to go over as a refresher for the (current) season. This video will try to give you at least basic knowledge of all 32 teams and their goals for the season. I hope it does, anyway.

At this point, we're about to enter the true grind of the football season: The honeymoon period has ended and a relentless desire for blood takes over. Our Sundays consumed by the all-encompassing hands of the NFL. We cannot escape its grasp; just embrace its stranglehold on your life. This Sportsball episode is in dedication to such a feeling. I can only wish I had such skill in this regard.

Epic comebacks, humiliating chokes, one-man armies, and a relentless rush of dopamine from all of the action. There will be no mercy for us as Sportsball rushes to take our souls. We will become slaves to its might. All hail The Shield. And here is a recap of this past week.
Sponsored by Raycon. Go to https://buyraycon.com/utree for 15% off your order! Now even later than ever! Next year, the video will come out in August because that's what fate has decided! In all seriousness, this came out much later than I was hoping, but the objectives for the teams that missed the playoffs are all the same. This video is what you could call a recap of their seasons, both the glimmers of hope and freefalls into despair. Some trend up, some trend down, but it's all the same for them in the end. And then there's Vegas.
AKA: "Congrats, Oilers! (2022)" The Mike Smith Experience is many things. Stable is not one of them. However, it's a hell of a lot of fun to watch if your team isn't playing. This video is in tribute to the man who makes a brutal mistake only to bail himself out in the end... mostly.
AKA: "Congrats, Blues! (2022)" This was not St. Louis's best moment. Let's put it that way. In the age the Blues thought they had a chance to make another deep playoff run, they instead receive another thing: Their new boogeyman. Nazem Kadri now lives rentfree in the minds of the Blues fanbase and organization itself. This is a tribute to such inadvertent trolling.
