The Fighting Saints played three Games in the USHL Fall Classic East, located outside Pittsburgh. Dubuque dropped the first two games, a 5-2 loss to Green Bay on Thursday and an 8-2 loss to USA U-18 on Friday, but came back on Saturday morning with a 4-1 win over Bloomington.
The Fighting Saints were looking to even the series in Game 2, but Tri-City came away with the 4-2 win. Carson Vance and Casey Johnson had the goals for Dubuque. The Fighting Saints will need to win the final 3 games of the series to take the Clark Cup. Game 3 will be next Friday at Tri-City, with an if needed game 4 on Saturday.
