LAD accomplished something no other team in MLB playoff history in game 3. They scored (11) runs in one inning. Breaking the record of 10 runs achieved four times -- most recently by the Cardinals against a similar Braves roster in Game 5 of last year’s NL Division Series. It also marked the first time the Dodgers had scored 11-plus runs in an inning since Aug. 8, 1954, when they sent 13 men home in the eighth against the Reds at Brooklyn’s Ebbets Field. You know the saying 'don't poke the bear'. So did Atlanta wake up the Dodgers and now we have a whole new series? #MLB #HoustonAstros #TampaBayRays WELCOME to BASEBALL NEWS CLUB ** The ALCS game 1 had so many highlights that you might just have to replay the game at home to believe it. Houston the 1st (4) innings kept threatening to score, but Morton found a way out of each jam. In a way, this game could've very much went the Astros way with a bloop and/or a bop. Houston the best defensive team in MLB made (2) errors that came back to haunt them. Altuve made both errors which is very rare for the Astros. Tampa squeezed by with just (4) total hits all game, so in a way this series could've been easily tied up at 1 - 1. But that is what pitching does right? Atlanta has not faced a hitting squad like LAD yet, but then again the Dodgers have only hit (2) HR's thus far in '20 playoffs. Braves have the team to match up perfectly against LAD in a (7) game series. Dodgers just faced perhaps the toughest team yet in the Padres, so will that prepare them for another great team in Atlanta? Kershaw continues to have one of the best playoff performances in years, but will Atlanta just sit on his curveball all game forcing LAD to use their bullpen early? Both teams are very well matched up and both teams led the NL in runs and rbi's (1&2 ranked respectively). Yankees win ALDS game 1 over Tampa Bay Rays

They scored (22) runs off CLV and knocked Shane Bieber out of the game in the wild card series. Then facing one of the best lefties in the game in Blake Snell, they continued to flex their power. Garrit Cole as advertised pitched one of the most important games of his career with the Yankees. Then Giancarlo Stanton in the top of the 9th crushes a (GS) to pretty much end the game for good. This team has a core of players whom understand how to win, even without cheating. To top it off, Carlos Correa disrespecting the game and fans with his arrogant comments in the media just adds fire to an already big flame. Keep in mind, the Astros organization is not condemning his comments so its not just the players, its the ownership sticking their nose up at the sport of baseball and its fans. Disgusting no matter how you cut it. Oakland looked as if they could not find an answer to stop Houston and the usually dependable bullpen of the A's was non existent. Wilson Contreras 'to the moon' bat flip

Here we go again, 'invisible unwritten rules' are back in the news. Wilson Contreras crushed a HR and then when he was looking at his dugout did a bat flip into the air about (30) feet or so. Of course, this will tick off the Chicago WhiteSox which retaliated later in the game by hitting Wilson with a pitch. White Sox coach Rick Renteria comes out to argue after Jimmy Cordero was tossed from the game for throwing at a player. Then Rick is tossed from the game. MLB is just protecting players from retaliation coaching. Again, a coach and player throwing at a player just for a bat flip? Are you freakin kidding me? The WhiteSox are the most 'bat flippenist' team around, but if another team does it its pay back time? Im glad the umpires tossed both coach and player because in itself, they are battery mates in a way. Now the discussion will be : should the team(s) been 'warned' or 'tossed' from the game?
