The Capitols stormed back from a 4-1 third period deficit to eventually take a 5-4 lead. Though Dubuque would tie and win in overtime, Madison provided the Alliant Energy Center crowd with perhaps their most exciting contest of the season!

The Madison Capitols received goals from Mitch Hults, Tommy Muck, and Marco Richter in their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 18. Over 6,000 fans came out to see the first USHL game in Madison in 19 years. Cedar Rapids prevailed, 5-3.
