Led by ASUN Championship Most Valuable Player, Scottie James, the Flames went against a hostile crowd of 5,687 which set a facility record for attendance and marked the seventh-straight sell-out crowd for the conference final.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Lipscomb advanced to its fourth consecutive ASUN Men's Basketball Championship semifinal with a big second half against Stetson. The Bisons will host No. 3 Jacksonville on Thursday night at Allen Arena.
Lipscomb 3, North Florida 0 - #ASUNVB First Round
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - No. 4 Lipscomb defeated No. 5 North Florida, 3-0, in the first match of the 2017 ASUN Conference Volleyball Championship on Thursday evening in Allen Arena. The two-time ASUN Player of the Year, Carlyle Nusbaum led the way for the Bisons with a match-high 17 kills, while Maddie Phillips contributed 11 kills and three blocks.
Lipscomb 97, NJIT 66: @ASUNMBB Quarterfinals
The No. 2 Lipscomb Bisons were on fire from the opening tip of Monday's ASUN Conference Men's Basketball Championship quarterfinal and cruised to a 97-66 victory against No. 7 NJIT. Garrison Mathews scored 18 of his game-high 30 points in the first half.
Lipscomb 2, Stetson 1: ASUN Women's Soccer Championship Semifinal
No. 2 Lipscomb returned to the ASUN Women's Soccer Championship Final with a pair of late goals as the Bisons defeated No. 3 Stetson in double overtime at FGCU's Soccer Complex. With only 56 seconds remaining before penalty kicks, ASUN Defensive Player of the Year Niamh Rawlins struck from just inside the penalty area on a loose ball following a corner kick.
FGCU 6, Stetson 0 - All Goals
The nation's highest scoring offense was at it again on Friday, October 14th as No. 12 FGCU scored six goals past Stetson. Arion Sobers-Assue (2), Albert Ruiz, Miguel Jaime, Miguel Perez and Jiro Barriga Toyama were on the score sheet.
