Pirin Handball team details!

The Pirin Mountain is a mountain range in southwestern Bulgaria, with Vihren at an altitude of 2,914 m being the highest peak. One hypothesis is the mountain was named after Perun, the highest god of the Slavic pantheon and the god of thunder and lightning.

Pirin National Park

Pirin National Park , originally named Vihren National Park, encompasses the larger part of the Pirin Mountains in southwestern Bulgaria, spanning an area of 403.56 km2 (155.82 sq mi). It is one of the three national parks in the country, the others being Rila National Park and Central Balkan National Park.

Pirin-Fiat

Pirin-Fiat was the trademark of several passenger automobiles produced in Lovech, Bulgaria, and the result of a collaboration between Fiat and SPC Balkankar (a Bulgarian state production cooperative). Production lasted for five years (1967-1971).

The Pirin Folk Ensemble (also Pirin Folk Song and Dances State Ensemble) is a Bulgarian performance group. It consists of a folk orchestra, a dance troupe, and a women's choir.

Pirin Glacier

Pirin Glacier is the 5.7 km long and 6 km wide glacier situated next east of Chavdar Peninsula on Davis Coast on the Antarctic Peninsula. Situated west of Wright Ice Piedmont, north of Gregory Glacier and east of Samodiva Glacier.

Pirinixic acid is a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha agonist that is under experimental investigation for prevention of severe cardiac dysfunction, cardiomyopathy and heart failure as a result of lipid accumulation within cardiac myocytes. Treatment is primarily aimed at individuals with an adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL) enzyme deficiency or mutation because of the essential PPAR protein interactions with free fatty acid monomers derived from the ATGL catalyzed lipid oxidation reaction.

Pirin Macedonia

Pirin Macedonia or Bulgarian Macedonia (Pirinska Makedoniya or Bulgarska Makedoniya) is the smallest part of the geographical region Macedonia located on the Balkan Peninsula, today in southwestern Bulgaria. This region coincides with the borders of the Blagoevgrad Oblast, adding the surrounding area of the Barakovo village from the Kyustendil Province.
