Dukovany is a village and municipality in Třebíč District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. The village is situated on the border to southern Moravia.
The Dukovany Nuclear Power Station is a nuclear power plant near Dukovany, a village in the Czech Republic. It was the first NPP in what is now the Czech Republic (the Bohunice Nuclear Power Plant in what is now Slovakia was constructed in 1958) and is situated 30 kilometres (19 mi) from the city of Třebíč, near the Dalešice Reservoir, where the NPP sources its water supply.
