Asociația Fotbal Club Hermannstadt , commonly known as FC Hermannstadt, Hermannstadt or familiarly as Sibiu (Romanian pronunciation: [siˈbiw]), is a Romanian professional football club based in the city of Sibiu, Sibiu County, currently playing in the Liga I. The team was established in 2015 and introduced in the fourth league, with Hermannstadt being the equivalent of the city's name in the German language. Roș-negrii achieved successive promotions and in 2018 reached the Liga I, the highest level of the Romanian football league system.
