Alexey Alexeyevich Oleynik (born June 25, 1977 as Oleksíy Oleksíyovych Olíynyk) is a Ukrainian-born Russian[3][2] mixed martial artist, jujitsuka, combat sambist and grappler currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, competing in their heavyweight division. A professional competitor who began his career in 1997, he is a M-1 Global veteran and has fought for Bellator, KSW, BodogFIGHT, and YAMMA Pit Fighting. He is the only fighter to win a UFC fight via Ezekiel choke,[9] and has now done so twice.
