Caf Champions League | ES Tunis (Esperance) vs Elect Sport 2-1 | Goals & Highlights (28.09.2019). Holders Esperance survive Elect Sport scare to progress. Algerian forward Raouf Benguit scored with seven minutes left as holders Esperance came from a goal down to beat Chadian champions Elect Sport 2-1 on the night in Rades and 3-2 on aggregate to progress to the group stages of the Total CAF Champions League. The Tunisian giants who have won back to back CAF Champions League titles were staring at an early exit after the Chad Electricity Company sponsored outfit went ahead through Hassan Ibrahim who slotted home seven minutes before the break. The goal saw the scores go 2-1 on aggregate following the first leg in N’Djamena which ended 1-1. However, Esperance came back a stronger side in the second half. Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane had a sweetly taken volley go inches over in the 56th minute as the home side sought an equalizer. They were rewarded in the 62nd minute when Ibrahima Ouattara swung in a brilliant header unmarked inside the box after being picked out by a pin point Sameh Derbali cross from the right. Derbali had a go at goal himself four minutes later but his shot on the weaker left foot went straight to the keeper’s arms. Esperance kept pushing and came close in the 76th minute off a swiftly executed counter, Benguit releasing Taha Khenissi who had just come on, but his shot was saved for a corner by the keeper. They finally got the much needed nerve calming goal in the 83rd minute when Benguit tapped home off the second bite of the cherry after his initial shot off an Anice Badri assist had come off an Elect Sport defender. Reactions: Moine Chaabani (Head coach, Esperance de Tunis) We conceded a goal from a counter attack and that put us in a difficult situation. We are mentally solid. It wasn’t easy going into the second half when you’re down 1-0. We were in a race against time and we managed it well. It was a good experience for our new players to get a feel of what it’s like in the CAF Champions League - the pressure and race against the clock. Sameh Derbali (Defender, Esperance de Tunis) We avoided a loss today. This is football, there are times when you have close calls. I am happy that we were in the right mindset in the second half and were able to dominate the game. Caf Champions League Esperance de Tunis vs Elect Sport (2-1) 28th.09.2019

FIFA World Cup 2018 Belgium Vs Tunisia Highlights | 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia | YOYO TV Channel Romelu Lukaku scored a first-half brace followed by a double from Eden Hazard as Belgium defeated Tunisia 5-2 in the Group G encounter. Khazri for Tunisia got a consolation in the stoppage time. The Belgian Red Devils dominated the game from the onset but Tunisia looked unpredictable as they pulled one back through a Bronn header delivered off a Khazri set piece. Tunisia had five attempts on goal from which they came twice to scoring in comparison to Belgium's seven shot on goal. The Tunisian, who have attacked well on the counter will have to return back in the second-half with better composure on the ball to find any chance to even share spoils with the ruthless Belgians. Preview: Belgium's credentials as a genuine outside bet for World Cup success face a tougher examination against Tunisia on Saturday after a relatively sedate opening against Panama. Roberto Martinez's star-studded squad emerged as 3-0 winners in their opening Group G game in Sochi on Monday but will likely find Tunisia a far more robust and defensively astute opponent when they meet at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow. It will mean the creative acumen of captain Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne will be vital if Belgium are to move closer to the second round and effectively end Tunisia's tournament. Both Premier League standouts took a while to get going in Monday's match but their obvious ability eventually made the requisite impact. "The first game at any tournament is always a little tough and the heat also tired us out but after rest we'll be ready to roll again," Chelsea playmaker Hazard said in the build-up to the weekend's clash. De Bruyne set up the second goal for Romelu Lukaku with a characteristically innovative pass and the Manchester City midfielder said on Wednesday he saw that as his primary task at the tournament. "I have to get the strikers into situations where they can score. If I do that, then I know I'm doing a good job," he told reporters as Belgium were given a surprise day off. Tunisia have a well-earned reputation in African football for their ability to close down matches through a combination of minded defence, time-wasting tactics and gamesmanship. That approach almost paid off against England in Volgograd on Monday as they frustrated Gareth Southgate's men for most of the second half after they pulled level 10 minutes before the break from the penalty spot. However, their well-organised rearguard eventually caved in when they conceded from a late set-piece to lose 2-1 and will need to employ more ambitious tactics against the Belgians to keep alive their World Cup hopes. Against England, they hardly made any attacking effort once they equalised, but to stay in contention they will need to end a 12-match winless streak at the World Cup finals, stretching back 40 years. "I think we will have Belgium's respect and we have our own ambitions of getting past the first round which Tunisia has never done before," coach Nabil Maaloul said.
