Why Norris now faces 'stupid' F1 race ban risk
Lando Norris is briefly on 10 licence penalty points and only two from a Formula 1 race ban. That will change before the next event but it’s a tally he believes he’s reached for “stupid” reasons. That’s earned him the support of Max Verstappen and prompted McLaren to call for a review of F1’s licence penalty point system. Norris will still be on a tightrope until more of his points elapse, as one more slip-up in the eyes of the officials would place him back on the brink. Kano Pillars vs Akwa United Game Abandoned After This Goal Was Cancelled For Offside | NPFL
The top of the table clash between the 1st and 2nd teams in the Nigerian Professional Football League was marred by fans' violence after a Kano Pillars strike was ruled out for offside. Fans at the stadium(in what was supposed to be a closed-door game) went wild after the assistant referee flagged for offside after Nwagua Nyima had headed home what might have been the winner for Sai Masu Gida who were the hosts. The call looks to be correct as Nyima was off the shoulder of the last defender when a flicked header came towards him. But as soon as he scored and the linesman and the referee signaled for offside, the Pillars players and fans went wild with the fans eventually overpowering the stewards and security men to get onto the pitch.

Why F1 has introduced new secret car checks in 2021
The FIA will carry out deeper technical checks on one car drawn at random at every grand prix in 2021. At the Bahrain Grand Prix the lucky winner of this draw was Valtteri Bottas, whose Mercedes passed the additional checks with flying colours. This is part of a push by the FIA to further close down any possible avenues for cheating in F1, with the hope being that the threat of a team's car being chosen for the random extra checks will prevent teams being willing to take too many risks around F1's technical rules.
