6'6 220lb Senior #AnthonyTarke does a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor for #CoppinState. This past weekend in a split series vs. Morgan State, he showcased this aforementioned versatility. #YearOfTheLefty Between the two games, he averaged 19 Points, 14 Rebounds, 5.5 Assists, 3.5 Steals, 3.5 TOs, and 1.5 Blocks, shooting 45% from the field, 33% from 3PT, and 68% from FT (worth noting, Tarke shot 9-11 from the Line in their BounceBack win after struggling in game one, going 4-8). Context: Coppin State ranks 3rd in the entire NCAA in Adjusted Tempo w/ a baffling 76.9 possessions per 40 minutes. Thus, Coppin State is a trigger happy squad who's constantly runnin' and gunnin'. Through this offense, Tarke is able to showcase his versatility w/ full-court passes, shots & touches from all levels. Within 20 seconds you may see Tarke backing down a defender in the post, to him pulling from 25 feet off a sidestep. Likewise, defensively, Coppin State pushes the tempo, constantly applying pressure w/ their roster's length + athleticism. Through 13 games, Tarke is averaging an impressive 3.3 SPG and 1.6 BPG. Tarke is likely a Frontrunner for the MEAC DPOY and will have the opportunity to play himself into MEAC POY conversations as conference play progresses. Jackie McNamara joins the 67 Hail Hail guys again for a look at Celtic's dismal 2-0 Betfred Cup loss to Ross County on Sunday. The guys sidestep the big issue of Neil Lennon for once and focus in on the players who have gotten away with murder so far this term. So why did they falter so badly again at the weekend? And how can they win the brilliant Celtic support back? Enjoy, and please subscribe to the channel if you like our content.
An emerging James Harden drew many comparisons to Manu Ginobili for obvious reasons, but the move that most noticed was the Eurostep. Now, he's in and possibly leading MVP discussions and he's still shaking guys up with that move. I didn't know exactly how to differentiate them but in every play, you'll notice one of these two things: the rip/windmill move and the sidestep/step-through. For this video, I didn't go all the way back to his Thunder days (I don't even think any of these are from earlier than 2013) but there was more than enough. This isn't by any means a comprehensive compilation but remarkably, there are no James Harden Eurostep videos out there, so here's mine. For the record, let's be real here: a few of these are travels. The footwork is impressive and James has been in the league a little while, so he knows how to get away with certain things. You can comment below on whether or not it's a travel, but the fact is that these were not called, so you know, if you won't celebrate his footwork, at least acknowledge he's doing it well enough to get away with it.
