Full rested Thijs leaves for Patro Eisden Maasmechelen to join the meet & greet at the fan day. 🏨🛎️ After some photos and signatures it’s time for the real deal. Thijs is on the players sheet and gets to put on his jersey for the first time. About 15 minutes before the end of Patro’s friendly game against MVV Maastricht, he gets subbed on for Adnane Abid. It’s a dream come true and Thijs is able to surprise everyone. 📸 His debut ends with a 1-0 victory, thanking the fans and a concluding press conference. 👏🏻 One thing is clear: he wants more. Chisholm's historic performance powered the Yankees to a thrilling 7-6 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies, marking their first four-game winning streak since early June. Chisholm, recently acquired from Miami, dazzled with five RBI in the game, starting with an RBI grounder in the first inning. He then launched a solo homer in the sixth off Aaron Nola and followed up with a three-run blast in the seventh against Matt Strahm, putting the Yankees ahead 5-4. This marks Chisholm’s second two-homer game in three outings with the Yankees, after having only three such performances in 405 games with Miami. He is also the first player in MLB history to have two multi-homer games in his first three games with any franchise. The game was filled with dramatic moments, including a wild pitch by Clay Holmes that allowed Josh Rojas to tie the game in the ninth.
