After the race, Leclerc said: “It is hard racing, as we have seen with Max in the past. But I’m also an aggressive driver in the way I fight with others.” This will have been a strong message to Verstappen, so let’s look at it from each driver’s perspective. By lap 17, Verstappen had caught Leclerc and made a strong move going down the pit straight - helped by the straight-line speed of the Red Bull. Leclerc defended pretty heavily, as much as he really could on the wide Bahrain circuit. I think here, he would have wanted to keep Max on the inside, off the racing line and in all of the dust and dirt. This way, Leclerc had a much better line through turn 1, cleaner - and grippier - tyres and DRS in the next section of track. He actually said that he wasn’t trying to be too late on the brakes into turn 1, as the DRS detection line was in the braking zone. As we know, this line which enables DRS in the next section if a driver is behind another when crossing it, so Leclerc was being pretty clever here, saying: “I expected it (the overtake) and actually I wanted it. Because I knew that if he wasn’t overtaking me there, he would overtake me on the run to Turn 4 with the DRS. “So I was on purpose braking very early into Turn 1 to be just behind in the DRS detection and to get it on the run to Turn 4 to get him back. It always worked out. ➤ Join our Driver61 Community Discord! - https://discord.gg/YCqFxF27VS ➤ Subscribe for more incredible motorsport: https://goo.gl/AbD2f9 ➤Follow us on: ➤ Instagram- @official_driver61 - https://bit.ly/D61Insta ➤TikTok - @official_driver61 - https://bit.ly/D61TikTok ➤ iPad Drawing sponsored by Concepts, you can get an exclusive free trial here! - https://concepts.app/driver61 📺 F1 Driver’s Technique Explained ➤ Senna’s bizarre technique: https://bit.ly/3lORK59 ➤ How Schumacher’s style won 7 championships: https://bit.ly/3527cVz ➤ Alonso’s strange steering: https://bit.ly/2Z7a93v ➤ How Verstappen will be F1 champion: https://bit.ly/3jK6L6n ➤ How Verstappen is so fast in the wet: https://bit.ly/32WMVhr 📺 F1 Engineering ➤ How F1 brakes work: https://bit.ly/3h0Whh0 ➤ How an F1 clutch works: https://bit.ly/3i0oDJM ➤ What’s inside an F1 gearbox: https://bit.ly/2DzMqRW ➤ How F1 teams change four tyres in two seconds: https://bit.ly/2QVpkIl 🏎️ Track & Racing Driver! ➤ Get a free report on your track driving: http://bit.ly/2LmYNBA ➤ Get faster on track with our FREE 25-part tutorial series:http://bit.ly/2PypIMK ➤ Our real-world training programmes: http://bit.ly/2ktjtgV 🏁 Sim Racers! ➤ My sim wheel: https://bit.ly/354BBlY ➤ My sim pedals: https://bit.ly/3eJckQo ➤ Our sim racing course: https://bit.ly/34WuV7p ➤ Get a free report on your track driving: http://bit.ly/2LmYNBA ➤ Driver61 Sim Racing Channel: http://bit.ly/2BMdk4B #F1 #Leclerc #BahrainGP

ISL 2021-22, Match Highlights (Game 63): Jamshedpur pip Hyderabad to qualify for semis
ISL 2021-22, Match Highlights (Game 63): Jamshedpur pip Hyderabad to qualify for semis

Jamshedpur FC knocked Hyderabad FC off their perch with a clinical 3-0 victory over them in a top-of-the-table rescheduled Hero Indian Super League encounter at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim here on Tuesday. The result saw Jamshedpur qualify for the semis for the first time. The only blemish in an otherwise spotless performance was the sending off of Mobashir Rahman in the 68th minute. Chinglensana Singh (5th OG) scored an own goal to help Jamshedpur take the lead before skipper Peter Hartley (28th) doubled the lead with Daniel Chima Chukwu (65th) extending his rich vein of form with his fifth goal since joining Jamshedpur to crown a brilliant performance. Jamshedpur now are in pole position with 37 points from 18 matches, two more than Hyderabad (35 points) with a game in hand. The result is more credible as Jamshedpur won against the leaders without Greg Stewart who has been arguably their best player. Stewart is serving a one-match suspension after picking up four yellow cards. Hyderabad made a lot of changes to the side from the last game with Bart Ogbeche also not kept in the mix. The game started on a frantic note, Chinglensana putting the ball in his own net after a Mobashir Rahman low shot took a wicked deflection off his foot and wrongfooted goalkeeper Gurmeet Singh, playing for the first time this season in place of seasoned custodian Laxmikant Kattimani. The early goal hurt the league leaders as they shifted gears, seeing more of the ball in the final third with Jamshedpur pressing them higher up the park. Aniket Jadhav pulled wide after beating his marker with a neat piece of skill while the yellow shirts seemed to be finding their mojo. But Jamshedpur doubled their advantage from a set piece. Alexandre Lima swung in a delightful corner for Hartley to leap highest and head home across the face of goal leaving Gurmeet rooted to his spot. At halftime, the Men of Steel led 2-0 and in the second half, the Owen Coyle-coached side never took their foot off the pedal. Hartley came close to doubling his goal tally from a corner and Chima dragged wide from close. The in-form Nigerian did not have to wait too long though for a goal, slotting home a botched Khassa Camara clearance which was set up for him by Lima. Three minutes later, Mobashir was given the marching orders for his rash behaviour after hacking down Akash Mishra. Hyderabad could have pulled one back but Javier Siverio missed from close range as Jamshedpur capped off a perfect night. #HeroISL #LetsFootball #IndianSuperLeague 🔊 LIKE ➡ SHARE ➡ SUBSCRIBE For More Updates: English: https://newsable.asianetnews.com/ Hindi: https://hindi.asianetnews.com/ Malayalam: https://www.asianetnews.com/ Kannada: https://kannada.asianetnews.com/ Tamil: https://tamil.asianetnews.com/ Telugu: https://telugu.asianetnews.com/ Bengali: https://bangla.asianetnews.com/ Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AsianetNewsa...

#CiclismoHoy #NairoQuintana #RichardCarapaz #TourDeLaProvence #TDLP2022 #Ciclofanaticos #ElMundoRuedaXseñal #TourProvence

Will Russell Beat Hamilton in 2022?
Will Russell Beat Hamilton in 2022?

Could George Russell beat Lewis Hamilton this season? George Russell is in a good car for the first time in Formula 1 - well, maybe disregarding that brief (but disappointing) race in the Mercedes in 2020. Now, he’s held up as a driver with massive potential, who just hasn’t been able to show it yet. And going up against Hamilton for this season is really going to show us what he’s made of. BUT - do we really think he can beat Hamilton? Could this 24 year old driver really take on a seven-time world champion? Well, let's go over why I think he’s going to have a real good go at it. ➤ Join our Driver61 Community Discord! - https://discord.gg/YCqFxF27VS ➤ Subscribe for more incredible motorsport: https://goo.gl/AbD2f9 ➤Follow us on: ➤ Instagram- @official_driver61 - https://bit.ly/D61Insta ➤TikTok - @official_driver61 - https://bit.ly/D61TikTok ➤ iPad Drawing sponsored by Concepts, you can get an exclusive free trial here! - https://concepts.app/driver61 So there is no doubt that George is a great driver, but two seasons of battling his teammate for P19 (and sometimes better) doesn’t really show his talent. He made his F1 debut in 2019 with a very dodgy car, then spent 2020 with a less dodgy car and 2021 with a car that could actually compete with the midfield at times. Throughout his entire 3 year spell at Williams, he has thoroughly outperformed both his teammate and the car he was sat in (which of course, we all know). But there have been a couple of really clear examples of this. We all remember that MAGIC lap in Spa to secure a second-place finish - where (in a slower car) he out-paced Lewis {in awful conditions too} and it takes a pretty special drive to do something like that. Then there was the race in Sakhir, where he was less than a tenth of pole, pulled an outrageous overtake on Bottas and had the measure of him on race-pace (all in a car that he had driven for less than 3 hours TOTAL) But really, we are limited in terms of results where he was in a good car. At least in F1, but not if we look back on his career. 📺 F1 Driver’s Technique Explained ➤ Senna’s bizarre technique: https://bit.ly/3lORK59 ➤ How Schumacher’s style won 7 championships: https://bit.ly/3527cVz ➤ Alonso’s strange steering: https://bit.ly/2Z7a93v ➤ How Verstappen will be F1 champion: https://bit.ly/3jK6L6n ➤ How Verstappen is so fast in the wet: https://bit.ly/32WMVhr 📺 F1 Engineering ➤ How F1 brakes work: https://bit.ly/3h0Whh0 ➤ How an F1 clutch works: https://bit.ly/3i0oDJM ➤ What’s inside an F1 gearbox: https://bit.ly/2DzMqRW ➤ How F1 teams change four tyres in two seconds: https://bit.ly/2QVpkIl 🏎️ Track & Racing Driver! ➤ My sim wheel: https://bit.ly/354BBlY ➤ My sim pedals: https://bit.ly/3eJckQo ➤ Our sim racing course: https://bit.ly/34WuV7p ➤ Get a free report on your track driving: http://bit.ly/2LmYNBA ➤ Driver61 Sim Racing Channel: http://bit.ly/2BMdk4B #Formula1 #Hamilton #Russell

Why Senna's Driving Style Wouldn't Work Today
Why Senna's Driving Style Wouldn't Work Today

When you watch Formula 1 now, if you’re eagle-eyed (or a driving coach) you will notice that all of the drivers use quite a similar driving style. Like, pretty much, EXACTLY the same. Thumbnail livery by Davide Chiappini - https://instagram.com/davidechiappini_dcgraphics 3D Model by https://racesimstudio.com They are VERY smooth coming off the brakes, then one sweep of the steering wheel into the corner, then out of the corner - and smooth on the throttle again. That’s it, all of them do it. From Lewis, through to Nikita (mostly). ➤ Join our Driver61 Community Discord! - https://discord.gg/YCqFxF27VS ➤ Subscribe for more incredible motorsport: https://goo.gl/AbD2f9 ➤Follow us on: ➤ Instagram- @official_driver61 - https://bit.ly/D61Insta ➤TikTok - @official_driver61 - https://bit.ly/D61TikTok ➤ iPad Drawing sponsored by Concepts, you can get an exclusive free trial here! - https://concepts.app/driver61 Now, I have broken down a lot of different drivers’ driving styles on this channel. The Alonso video kinda kicked things off for Driver61. He would drive in a deliberately horrible style, inducing massive understeer - heating up the famously hard-wearing Michelins to then give him grip on exit. Then there’s Schumacher - he drove the car very hard into the corner and rotated it mid-corner. This meant that he was [actually slower] mid-corner - but he more than made up for it on the entry and with a brilliant exit. —- But, now if you look at Verstappen vs Hamilton - the way they drive the car is remarkably similar. Honestly, go watch some onboards! [After this obviously - I would LOVE to include them here, but we’re not allowed.] So what’s up with that? Have they just cracked the secret to driving? Or is it the cars that mean everyone drives so similarly now? —- Well, let's look back at Senna. Over his time in Formula 1 - he drove a lot of different cars. All of which needed driving differently, so he always needed to adapt to the car. And it’s quite a collection of cars. 📺 F1 Driver’s Technique Explained ➤ Senna’s bizarre technique: https://bit.ly/3lORK59 ➤ How Schumacher’s style won 7 championships: https://bit.ly/3527cVz ➤ Alonso’s strange steering: https://bit.ly/2Z7a93v ➤ How Verstappen will be F1 champion: https://bit.ly/3jK6L6n ➤ How Verstappen is so fast in the wet: https://bit.ly/32WMVhr 📺 F1 Engineering ➤ How F1 brakes work: https://bit.ly/3h0Whh0 ➤ How an F1 clutch works: https://bit.ly/3i0oDJM ➤ What’s inside an F1 gearbox: https://bit.ly/2DzMqRW ➤ How F1 teams change four tyres in two seconds: https://bit.ly/2QVpkIl 🏎️ Track & Racing Driver! ➤ My sim wheel: https://bit.ly/354BBlY ➤ My sim pedals: https://bit.ly/3eJckQo ➤ Our sim racing course: https://bit.ly/34WuV7p ➤ Get a free report on your track driving: http://bit.ly/2LmYNBA ➤ Driver61 Sim Racing Channel: http://bit.ly/2BMdk4B #Formula1 #Senna #Schumacher
