Chicago Bears News TODAY: David Montgomery Injury Update, Matt Nagy Returns & Sign Odell Beckham?
Today’s Chicago Bears news surrounds Matt Nagy’s return to Halas Hall as he’s cleared COVID protocols and a David Montgomery injury update. Nagy held his press conference today and revealed that he was cleared on Tuesday. He also told the Bears media that David Montgomery has been designated to return from IR which means his 21-day window to return starts today. Montgomery will practice, but it’s unclear if he’ll play on Monday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Odell Beckham rumors are swirling as OBJ and the Browns are nearing a divorce according to NFL reports. Beckham has not been at the past 2 Cleveland Browns’ practices and many believe he will get cut. Should the Bears sign Beckham if he gets released? OBJ will likely have better suitors in NFL Free Agency than the Bears who sit at 3-5 eight weeks into the 2021 NFL Season.
