HIGHLIGHTS | Leeds United vs Arsenal (2-4) | U23 | Salah-Eddine, Biereth, Balogun, Lopez

Our under-23s climbed to the top of the Premier League 2 table on Friday night with an impressive 4-2 victory over Leeds United at Elland Road. Kevin Betsy’ side have now won seven of their opening 10 league fixtures, scoring more goals than any other team and displaying weekly improvement in defence. But despite that, it was the hosts who opened the scoring early on and in an unfortunate manner too. After Mazeed Ogungbo was fouled inside his own penalty area, we regained possession and looked for a free-kick, but the referee waved play on and former Gunner Sam Greenwood made no mistake on the counter-attack. It took us less than five minutes to respond, though, as Salah-Eddine picked up a loose pass from the goalkeeper and skipped past his marker, before curling a stunning effort into the top right corner. Leeds regained their advantage before the break with Max Jimmy Dean providing the finishing touch to another sweeping counter-attack, but once again, we showed incredible character and spirit to bounce back less than 60 seconds after the restart. Pressing forward in numbers, Folarin Balogun dispossessed a Leeds midfielder and charged into the penalty area, before cutting the ball back for Brooke Norton-Cuffy to fire towards goal. Our No 7’s drilled effort was deflected and spilled behind by the keeper, but Mika Biereth was on hand to ensure to ensure the ball crossed the line. It was no less than we deserved for our positive, attacking play and shortly after we had a golden chance to take the lead, as Kido Taylor-Hart won a penalty following some outstanding build-up play from Jack Henry-Francis. Captain Balogun stepped up and fired a powerful effort into the bottom left corner for his eighth goal of the PL2 season. In what was a topsy-turvy game, our youngsters knew that they couldn’t rest on their laurels, and late on we furthered our advantage with an outstanding team move on the break. Driving forward from deep inside our own half, Tim Akinola carried the ball for more than 30 yards and slipped through Balogun, who lost his marker with a sharp turn before picking out Joel Lopez to provide the finishing touch. Greyhounds' Rory Kerins Named OHL Player of the Week
Greyhounds' Rory Kerins Named OHL Player of the Week

Toronto, Ont. - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Calgary Flames prospect Rory Kerins of the Soo Greyhounds is the OHL Player of the Week with a league-leading 10 points including five goals and five assists over three games including a plus/minus rating of plus-3. Kerins got the week started with a four-point performance on Wednesday night as the Greyhounds defeated the visiting Sudbury Wolves 4-3 in overtime. Kerins scored twice, tying the game with a third period power play marker before collecting an assist on Tye Kartye's game winner. His dominance carried over into Friday's home date against the North Bay Battalion as Kerins posted a career-high six points including his first OHL hat-trick as the Hounds outgunned the Troops 8-5. Kerins' six points were the most by a Greyhounds player in a single game since Nick Cousins recorded six on Feb. 16, 2013 against the Kingston Frontenacs. Kerins was held off the scoresheet on Saturday as the Hounds fell to the Battalion 4-2 on home ice. The 5-foot-11, 186Ib. centreman was an impressive 68 percent in the faceoff circle last week, winning 51 of his 75 draws. A 19-year-old from Caledon, Ont., Kerins is currently tied for the OHL lead in scoring with his 14 points (8-6--14) over eight games. His 61.8 percent success rate in the faceoff circle is third among centremen with at least 100 faceoff attempts this season. Kerins was a sixth round (174th overall) pick by the Calgary Flames in the 2020 NHL Draft and made his pro debut with the organization last season, appearing in four games with the AHL's Stockton Heat. The Greyhounds selected him with their fourth round (71st overall) pick in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection from the Mississauga Rebels U16 program. Kerins becomes the first Greyhounds player to earn the weekly honour since Morgan Frost last did so from Jan. 14-20, 2019. Also considered for the award this week were San Jose Sharks prospect Danil Gushchin of the Niagara IceDogs who finished the week with nine points including five goals and four assists over three contests. Gushchin's first career OHL hat-trick headlined an IceDogs win over the Barrie Colts on Thursday. Kerins' Soo Greyhounds teammate Tye Kartye was also in the running after recording eight points including four goals and four assists over three games last week. 2021-22 OHL Players of the Week – Regular Season: Oct. 18 – Oct. 24: Rory Kerins (Soo Greyhounds) Oct. 11 – Oct. 17: Calum Ritchie (Oshawa Generals) Oct. 4 – Oct. 10: Jack Thompson (Sudbury Wolves) Breaking news, scores, stats & highlights: https://ontariohockeyleague.com Follow the OHL on Social Media! West Ham 1-0 Tottenham l Michail Antonio Celebration l Tottenham Fan Reaction
West Ham 1-0 Tottenham l Michail Antonio Celebration l Tottenham Fan Reaction

Hello everyone! Welcome to a new video from Spurs95:01. Today it is West Ham 1-0 Tottenham l Michail Antonio Celebration l Tottenham Fan Reaction. During a raucous start, West Ham came within a whisker of seizing the lead. Aaron Cresswell swung in a fantastic corner that whizzed off a head at the front and nearly fell for Tomas Soucek, the dependable set-piece scorer. Soon after, Hugo Lloris was called into action for the first time. Jarrod Bowen delivered a beautiful cross 12 yards out to an unmarked Pablo Fornals. With a well-timed scissor kick, the Spaniard met it in mid-air and blasted the ball towards the bottom corner, only for Lloris to dive to his right and make the save. West Ham's best attacking moves featured Fornals. He started their next by passing the ball to Benrahma, who slid a pass to Antonio, who eluded Cristian Romero with ease. The striker returned the ball to Fornals on the edge of the area, but his volley went wide wide. Tottenham responded. Kane delivered a superbly weighted ball from the centre circle to Son Heung-min's foot on the edge of the box. Son cut his way out of being surrounded by three West Ham players and slipped the pass to Lucas Moura, who turned and curled a shot past the post. Kane, who has had a similarly bleak start to the season, had a good chance to score before halftime. Sergio Reguilón floated a high, looping cross to the back post, where he leapt above Cresswell and thudded a thunderous header that would have crept under the bar had Lukasz Fabianski not perfectly timed his leap to tip the ball over. However, West Ham posed the bigger danger, particularly in the second half, and every time they attacked, it felt like they were only one more pass away from getting through, a feeling reinforced when Fornals' pass was intercepted by Reguilón with an unmarked Bowen lurking in the box. Reguilón sailed confidently away from his own box — perhaps too confidently. Fornals was able to pull the ball back after a sloppy touch and drive forward before unleashing a shot that was loopily deflected over the bar. West Ham scored from the corner. Cresswell fired an outswinging delivery to the front post, where Skipp was stationed, but he didn't get off the ground due to Soucek's pressure. Antonio received the ball, and his marker, Kane, was taken off guard. The striker had hardly enough time to watch the ball's trajectory before reacting immediately and poking the ball past Lloris with his leg. Kane was visibly distressed by the price he had paid for his inattention to Antonio. The Antonio celebration was great to see for West Hams but torture for Spurs fans. League One Predictions - GameWeek 13 - Oxford vs Plymouth, Bolton vs Wigan! ⚽⚽⚽
League One Predictions - GameWeek 13 - Oxford vs Plymouth, Bolton vs Wigan! ⚽⚽⚽

It's another round of League One predictions with Ian & Thomas from Very Biased Opinions. It's Game week 13 and all 24 clubs are in action and predict all 12 games. We start this weeks predictions with the leaders coming to OUFC. That’s right it's Oxford United vs Plymouth Argyle. The Pilgrims climbed to the summit last weekend and have been doing amazingly well under Ryan Lowe, but Oxford Utd are on a high after their win against Sheffield Wednesday last time out. Oxford are unbeaten at home and the Pilgrims are going to pack the away end. It should be a corker. Another high scoring game should be Bolton vs Wigan. Could be a classic Lancashire derby. CRISIS at Sunderland!!!! Last time out they lost 4-0 then ran scared of Oxford United and pretended they had international players. Its another trip down south as they go to Gillingham. Surely it can’t be as bad as last time. Portsmouth were the slayers of Sunderland and they face a tough trip to New York to face Rotherham. There are no easy games in League One. Wycombe Wanderers are laying a marker down and doing a fine of job of trying to reclaim their Championship status. VBO sees an easy win for them over a rubbish Doncaster side. These are just a few highlights but we still have GW13 predictions for Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton Athletic, Shrewsbury Town, Accrington Stanley, Lincoln City, Morecambe, Cambridge United, Ipswich Town, MK Dons, AFC Wimbledon, Burton Albion, Fleetwood Town & Crewe Alexandra. Please play along at home and give your predictions and we will give you a shout out in next weeks predictions video. #LeagueOnePredictions #EFL #LeagueOne Timestamps 0:00 - Introduction 1:22 - Gillingham vs Sunderland 2:37 - Bolton Wanderers vs Wigan Athletic 3:38 - Doncaster Rovers vs Wycombe Wanderers 4:55 - Rotherham United vs Portsmouth 6:40 - Shrewsbury Town vs MK Dons 7:39 - Patreon Update 8:26 - Cheltenham Town vs Accrington Stanley 9:21 - AFC Wimbledon vs Sheffield Wednesday 12:24 - Cambridge United vs Ipswich Town 13:46 - Lincoln City vs Charlton Athletic 15:26 - Fleetwood Town vs Crewe Alexandra 16:02 - Burton Albion vs Morecambe 17:23 - Oxford United vs Plymouth Argyle Join our Patreon. DALLAS COWBOYS DEFEAT NEW YORK GIANTS 44-20 (RECAP)
DALLAS COWBOYS DEFEAT NEW YORK GIANTS 44-20 (RECAP)

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys have now won four-straight games, culminating in a 44-20 victory over the New York Giants. Dallas advances to 4-1 and takes a two-game lead in the NFC East. Dallas came into the game as a 7-point favorite over the Giants and the matchup proved more challenging as the game wore on as New York lost quarterback Daniel Jones, featured running back Saquon Barkley, and run-after-catch threat Kenny Golladay to injury. Despite a sloppy start for the Cowboys in the first half featuring two turnovers, several missed snaps, and a dropped pass in the end zone, the Cowboys rallied in the second. The squad spurred a win Mike McCarthy labeled the “first game from start to finish we kept our feet on the gas.” The way the Cowboys played in the second half was a microcosm of the season thus far, including a dominant run game and a Trevon Diggs interception. Sound familiar? Kellen Moore once again took advantage of the defense’s box count and the offensive line/tight end chips created seams for rushers with second level blocks. Ezekiel Elliott finished with 110 rushing yards, his second-straight game eclipsing the 100-yard marker at AT&T Stadium. He gashed Patrick Graham’s defense with his decisiveness on cuts and cashed in with a rushing and receiving touchdown. Tony Pollard added 75 yards to the ground total in addition. The run game created favorable matchups on the outside for Dak Prescott and three weapons finished with at least 60 receiving yards: CeeDee Lamb (84), Dalton Schultz (79), and Amari Cooper (60). Even ball distribution is the key to the Cowboys’ explosiveness. On the opposite side of the ball, Dan Quinn’s unit amassed two more interceptions. Diggs recorded his sixth interception in five games and Anthony Brown registered a pick six in the fourth quarter to extend the team’s lead. On the one-year anniversary of his right ankle fracture and dislocation, Prescott did not get off to a stellar start. Dallas turned the ball over twice in the first quarter that ended promising drives. The first came on a tipped pass by Lorenzo Carter who hauled it in for an interception. Dallas then ended the quarter with Prescott fumbling on the five-yard line which the Giants recovered. Reggie Ragland was there to pounce on the ball for New York. However, courtesy of the Cowboys’ defense, Daniel Jones and company were not able to capitalize on the Cowboys’ errors. The Giants had to settle for a field goal (54-yarder missed in the first quarter) and the Cowboys responded. Prescott threw a 49-yard bomb to CeeDee lamb for a touchdown. He hit him perfectly in stride and the momentum shifted. It took four plays to get into the end zone as Lamb ran untouched to give the Cowboys a 10-0 lead. The Giants then tied the game after the next two possessions. First a 51-yard field goal by Graham Gano, and then a methodical 12-play, 88-yard drive that resulted in a one-yard rush by Devontae Booker for a touchdown. With three minutes to go in the second, it was time for Prescott to answer. In eight plays, the Cowboys had reached the end zone. A 24-yard completion to Amari Cooper brought Dallas to a 17-10 lead into the half. Cooper’s cut inside left the Giants’ cornerback in the dust. Like last week against the Panthers, the Cowboys kicked it to high gear in the third. Th team put up 10 points. The Giants opened with a 51-yard field goal, but Dallas responded by marching 75 yards down the field in 10 plays. The impressive sequence began with Dak Prescott throwing a strike to Schultz for a 30-yard completion. Prescott rolled to the right to evade pressure and hit Schultz to set up the touchdown. Moore pulled out the trick bag. Prescott faked a pitch to Elliott, looked away to divert the defense, Elliot got open in the flat, and then Prescott threw a pass back to the running back he originally faked to. Trevon Diggs continued his streak. He picked off Mike Glennon on a deep pass for his sixth interception of the year in a five-game span. The Cowboys had to settle for a field goal off Diggs’ takeaway due to penalties on the following possession. Dallas continued to go the distance. The offense got in the end zone again off a nine play, 98-yard drive. Wideout Cedrick Wilson connected with Noah Brown on a 22-yard completion prior to catching a 35-yard pass down the sideline himself to move the chains. From 13 yards out, Elliott made his way around the right side and skipped across the goal line. The Giants responded with a touchdown of their own, a three-yard dump to Booker, but by that point, it was too late. The Cowboys recovered the onside kick and added three more points for good measure – a 31-yard field goal by Zuerlein. With 1:57 left in the game, Anthony Brown added salt to the wound. He recorded a pick six. Brown picked off Glennon’s pass intended for Collin Johnson and darted untouched 45 yards to the end zone to make it a 44-20 ballgame.

Carolina Panthers vs Dallas Cowboys: NFL Week 4 Preview
Carolina Panthers vs Dallas Cowboys: NFL Week 4 Preview

FRISCO, Texas – With an impressive 41-21 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys improved to 2-1 and sit atop the NFC East. The Cowboys exploited the Eagles’ two-high shell with 160 yards on the ground from their one-two punch of Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard. Dallas played a complementary football game with the defense notching two takeaways. The Cowboys will look to carry the momentum against the undefeated Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Here are some storylines for both teams entering Sunday’s NFC showdown. Panthers The Panthers are coming off a 24-9 victory against the Houston Texans in Week 3 and will once again head to Texas to face the Cowboys. Despite the win, Carolina lost two key playmakers on both sides of the football. The team’s featured back, Christian McCaffrey, strained his hamstring in the second quarter and the club’s 2021 first-round pick Jaycee Horn broke multiple bones in his foot and will be placed on IR. Without McCaffrey, the team’s primary workhorse on the ground and his dynamic pass-catching ability, more stress with fall on quarterback Sam Darnold. Rookie running back Chuba Hubbard totaled 79 yards in Week 3, and he will look to mirror that performance against Dallas to create favorable matchups on the outside for weapons like D.J. Moore. To help solidify the cornerback position with Horn’s absence, the Panthers acquired C.J. Henderson from the Jaguars for a third-round pick and tight end Dan Arnold. Henderson is expected to make his debut against America’s Team. Carolina will arrive at AT&T Stadium with the top-ranked defense in the NFL. The Panthers are allowing just 191 yards-per-game, a byproduct of Phil Snow’s penetrating defensive front. Snow utilizes exotic fronts and creative pressures, centered around the athleticism of Haason Reddick and Brian Burns. The Panthers lead the league with 14 sacks, curtesy of Reddick (4.5) and Burns (three). Their explosive get-offs have consistently harassed opposing quarterbacks. Winning the battle in the trenches will be critical for the Cowboys’ offensive line on Sunday. “They’re really crowding the ball, getting off the ball, a lot of activity,” Mike McCarthy told D210SPORTS on Carolina’s pass rush. “We got to make sure we know these guys. They’re playing with good juice.” Cowboys Dak Prescott’s command at the line of scrimmage and quick release has created the team’s favorable tempo. He posted a 143.3 passer rating against the Eagles, but the Cowboys ability to establish the run in the previous two games has factored into their two wins. Against the Chargers’ light box, Kellen Moore dialed up a perimeter-based attack to get Pollard in space. His shiftiness and ability to elude tackles carved up L.A.’s defense. A week later against the Eagles, the team found success with a downhill rushing attack that maximized Elliott’s power through tackles. Elliott is tied for the league lead with three rushing touchdowns and Pollard has eclipsed the 60-yard marker in the Cowboys past two games. With the number of playmakers on the Cowboys’ offense, defenses will have to pick their poison. Dallas has scored on the opening drive in each of the past two games. Prescott noted “starting fast” against the Panthers will be pivotal. The Cowboys lead the league in takeaways (8) and are tied for the lead in turnover differential (+5), largely due to Trevon Diggs’ impact in the secondary. Diggs has three interceptions in three games that has spearheaded the defense’s turnaround under Dan Quinn. Rookies Micah Parsons and Osa Odighizuwa have contributed to the revamped unit. Each week, the defense’s relentless pursuit of the football is on full display. Parsons rare closing speed and Odighizuwa’s quick first-step have wreaked havoc on offenses. They will play a key role in disrupting Darnold and getting him off his spot.
