🇫🇷 Yssam Moungalla — Scouting Report (AS Monaco | Betclic ELITE) Profile • Position: Wing • Height: 6’6 • Born: 2005 • Team: AS Monaco • League: Betclic ELITE • Archetype: 3-and-D wing / floor-spacing specialist ⸻ 📊 Full Game Performance vs Paris Basketball (EuroLeague Team) 👉 15 PTS — 3 REB — 1 AST — 1 STL — 13 EVAL ⏱ 18 MIN 🎯 Shooting Splits • 2PT: 0/2 • 3PT: 4/8 (50%) • FT: 3/4 (75%) ➡️ High-level shooting performance against elite competition. ⸻ 🧠 Scouting Evaluation 🎯 Elite Floor Spacing (Main Strength) Moungalla completely embraced his role as a perimeter spacer in this matchup. His impact offensively came almost entirely through shooting gravity and off-ball efficiency. 👉 What stood out: * Quick release mechanics * Immediate confidence off the catch * Excellent readiness positioning ➡️ Constantly punished defensive rotations and late closeouts. The ability to get shots off quickly without needing rhythm dribbles is highly valuable for modern spacing systems. ⸻ ⚡ Catch-and-Shoot Profile 👉 4 made threes against a EuroLeague-level opponent is significant. What makes it more interesting: * Shot within flow * Didn’t force offense * Maintained spacing discipline throughout the game ➡️ True catch-and-shoot wing archetype. At 6’6, that type of perimeter efficiency naturally increases long-term role translation. ⸻ 🧩 Off-Ball IQ / Role Understanding One of the strongest aspects of his performance was his understanding of role and offensive structure: * Relocated correctly * Timed movements well * Stayed available as an outlet shooter 👉 Played simple and efficient basketball. This is important because: * Many young wings try to overcreate * Moungalla instead maximized possessions through efficiency and spacing value ➡️ Winning role-player traits. ⸻ 🎮 Offensive Role Projection Right now, most of his offensive value comes from: * Spot-up shooting * Floor spacing * Off-ball movement The self-creation package remains limited at this stage, but the shooting gravity alone creates offensive impact. 👉 Potential next development areas: * Attacking closeouts more consistently * Improving handle under pressure * Expanding secondary creation ability
Hello everyone and welcome back to another End to End Hockey video, in today’s video I am doing a fan reaction video and today’s fan reaction video will be about the Hurricanes and Flyers game on Saturday, as just like the the ones I did last year I give my best reaction as A Canes and Flyers fan to Carolina blowing a 3rd period lead but recovered in OT to beat the Flyers 3-2 in OT as they sweep the Flyers to improve to 8-0 in the postseason and advance to the ECF for the 2nd straight year, Blake had a 3 point night, Andersen was great in net, Hall had a 3 point night and more, what was a Penguins, Senators and Wild fan reaction to that, and I am still trying to be better when it comes to these videos and I would love to hear your opinion in the comments, especially if you are a Canes and Flyers fan. Hello everyone and welcome to another End to End Hockey video during the offseason, in this video we are talking about some more news and rumours as we start off by looking at 5 signings as the Penguins signed Dewar to a 2 year extension to help him remain with them, Borvik signs a ELC in Utah and more, then we look at a slew of injury updates including around Carrick, Manson and Tippett amongst others, look at some roster movement with Colorado, Philly and St.Louis, Stars want to sign Robertson, Cap set for upcoming season, Selke and Norris finalists announced, plus we look at waivers including with no one on waivers plus more updates and then we also talk about some trade rumours as first I look at the Devils as I came across a report that mentioned that if the Devils wanted to improve their offense in the offseason they could look to target a Kraken player who is known for goal scoring, then we look at the Penguins as after being 1st rounded it seems like big changes are coming as they could let Malkin walk and apparently could look to deal 2 big time vets on their team and lastly I look at the Hawks and Leafs as according to Pagnotta the Blackhawks really want Matthew Knies and could look to try again to add him this offseason and may dangle the 4th overall pick to get him and I would love to hear your thoughts on all that was discussed in today’s video down in the comments section below. After suffering through their longest losing streak since 2024, the Reds bounced back with a much-needed 3-1 win over the Houston Astros on Saturday at Great American Ball Park. Cincinnati snapped an eight-game skid and now has a chance to win the series on Sunday against one of the American League’s top teams. The losing streak had quickly changed the outlook of the Reds’ season. Just a couple of weeks ago, Cincinnati was near the top of the NL Central standings. But a brutal stretch of losses dropped the Reds down the standings as the offense struggled to produce consistently and the pitching staff couldn’t catch a break. Saturday felt different. Rookie pitcher Chase Burns delivered another strong performance and gave the Reds exactly what they needed. Burns allowed just one run over six innings while continuing to show why he has become one of the most exciting young pitchers in baseball. The right-hander improved to 4-1 on the season and lowered his ERA to 2.11. Houston took a brief 1-0 lead in the fifth inning on a solo home run, but the Reds answered immediately. Matt McLain came through with a two-run single to put Cincinnati ahead, and Elly De La Cruz added an RBI hit later in the inning to extend the lead to 3-1. The Reds bullpen handled the rest. Brock Burke, Graham Ashcraft and Pierce Johnson combined for three scoreless innings to close out the win. Johnson earned his first save of the season as Cincinnati celebrated its first victory in over a week. Now the Reds will try to build on that momentum in Sunday’s series finale. Left-hander Andrew Abbott is expected to start for Cincinnati. Abbott has had an up-and-down season so far, but he showed encouraging signs in his last outing against the Chicago Cubs. He carried a shutout into the sixth inning before leaving with a no-decision in a tough 3-2 loss. The Reds are hoping Abbott can continue trending in the right direction against a dangerous Astros lineup that still features several proven hitters. Houston remains one of the better offensive teams in baseball and can score quickly when its lineup gets rolling. The Astros are expected to start Kai-Wei Teng, who will be making just his second start of the season. Teng has mostly pitched out of the bullpen this year but has been effective in limited action. For Cincinnati, the offense will once again be a major storyline. The Reds have struggled offensively during the losing streak, but Saturday’s win featured more timely hitting and better at-bats throughout the lineup. McLain’s two-run single was one of the biggest hits the Reds have had in over a week, while De La Cruz continued to provide energy near the top of the order. Will Benson has also started swinging the bat better recently, and the Reds are hoping players like Spencer Steer and Christian Encarnacion-Strand can continue to heat up as well. Manager Terry Francona has continued to shuffle the lineup looking for consistency, especially during the team’s offensive struggles over the last several games. Even with the recent losing streak, the Reds are still very much in the mix in the NL Central race. A series win over Houston would not completely erase the frustration of the past week, but it would certainly help Cincinnati regain some confidence moving forward. More importantly, Saturday’s victory reminded everyone what this team looks like when the pitching, defense and timely hitting all come together. The Reds will now try to carry that momentum into Sunday and secure an important series victory before turning the page to the next part of their schedule.
